I hired the company to pack and move my belongings from Halifax to Toronto. I also purchased the additional liability coverage they offered. Upon delivery on January 30, 2023, I noticed there was severe damage to my solid wood bed frame. It was packed with a blanket and all the edges had chunks of wood missing and scratches throughout. I subsequently noticed they broke my coffee maker and a lamp which rendered them unusable. They assured me repeatedly they would compensate me for the lamp and coffee maker. They also advised me that they located a "professional restorator" to repair the damage to my bed frame. I agreed to the repair on the condition the repair would not be noticeable. They picked up the bed frame and the repair was a disaster to the point where it was completely visible where a a buffer was used. They also added a splotchy sheen that was very noticeable. The repair was actually worse than the initial damage. It turns out they did not use a professional restorer that they found. When I notified them of the additional damage caused, they advised that "We are using this guy all the time, I am sure he tired his best". I have sent them all the pictures of the damage caused to the three items, including before and after the repair to the bed frame. I have also sent them links to the website for the replacement value. It has been almost 5 months now and I have not been compensated further to the additional coverage I purchased or for their negligence. The total replacement cost as of today is approximately $4,500.Business response

The complaint has been resolved directly with the customer and acceptable refund amount has been agreed upon. Customer agreed to remove the review.
