I purchased 2 vehicles from this business. Both motors now blown one within a year and a half and the other about 2 and a half years. A 2016 ******** **** was purchased a year and a half ago was sold to me with the engine light on. I was promised this was going to be fixed and never was. Also have messages stating so. I had to trade the car in because of the damages to the engine. I contacted the dealership and they didn't want to pay for the damages caused by the engine light being on since it was purchased. I now owe tens of thousands of dollars extra because of this. I will also inform you that the salesmen has been fired from this establishment because of other incidents of him ******* people off giving them misrepresentation when buying a car.

Mr. ****** purchased the 2016 ******** on November 13 2020. The check engine light apparently came on shortly after he got it home. He contacted us and we made arrangements at Coast Tire next door to us to find out what it needed to repair. When he arrived to drop off his vehicle, Mr. ****** asked for a loaner car. The only car we keep for that purpose had just been returned by another customer and Mr. ****** did not like it. He left without leaving his vehicle. He never came back to get his car looked at. Keep in mind that we do stand behind what we sell but Mr. ****** drove the Vehicle from November of 2020 to January of 2022 before he contacted me.  At this point we he has driven over 25,000 kms without tending to the check engine light. I feel that the onus is on Mr. ****** to have dropped his car off in a timely manner. We do not know if his not addressing this issue back in 2020 compounded the problem. The repair he requires now is not an engine replacement but a repair to a component. We feel we are not responsible for any further repairs on this vehicle.

As for his ***, he traded that vehicle at another dealership without contacting me with any concern.

We are far from a *****. We have been in business since 2006. We've sold thousands of cars and do more charity work than most of my peers. It's true the salesperson involved was let go from our dealership owing us money but that doesn't negate the fact that the customer did not due his duty and address this issue in a timely manner. As for that salesperson not being allowed to sell in NB, I'm not aware of any such action.

I am rejecting this response because:

I was sold a lemon. I messaged and called 100 times to get the engine light off and was promised someone was going to be in contact with me to fix the problem and it never was. The loner car I was offered was filthy and smelled like cigarette smoke and I had to travel with an infant. I was never offered another one. I don't know how many people I'm supposed to contact after a purchasing a vehicle with the engine light on but I tried plenty. All said and done I should have never been sold a car with the engine light on with promises that it was going to be fixed. I did not deal with the owner at the time because I was waiting on the salesman to take car and deal with the situation but was never called back.
