On or about Nov 6, 2021, I purchased a gift certificate from Polished 2 Perfection in the amount of $304.75. It was a Christmas gift for my son ***** *****. The order was taken over the phone and I spoke with ****. All conversations were with ****. The terms of the sale was that he would mail it to me. As time went on, and I did not receive the gift certificate, I made several calls to ****. He always used delay tactics, For example: ‘the Mail is just slow, there’s a new mailman and he remembers picking it up, just give it time, call back next week’, etc. Finally, on Friday, December 3, 2021, I told him I needed a resolution to this as it had gone on long enough. He agreed to send a 2nd gift certificate via Purolator that day. I again reiterated the address to make sure everything was correct. As of December 9, 2021, I have received nothing. Enclosed is an invoice and a statement saying it was in the mail. As this point, I would like a refund instead of a gift certificate. I have lost confidence in this company. Given that I have had to file a complaint, I don’t believe my son would have a pleasant experience when redeeming the gift certificate. I received a reimbursement from the company so no further action against this company is required.

I am writing in response to complaint 16347081. I am trying to figure out why this was even filed as a refund was issued on the customers first request. It is true the mail did not get out in a timely ****er. The mailman picks it up at our office. He didnt get it for about a week. Then we were shutdown for 2 weeks because of a covid exposure. We were all put on quarantine for 14 days by the Govt of NB. I agreed to *** a new card to her. I did that at my expense $46.00. I received a few calls from *** stating they could not deliver because of wrong address. So basically the customer gave the wrong address and is now slandering Polished 2 Perfection because of her mistake. I hope this resolves the ****er. Merry Xmas, ****
