    On August 26, 2021 I purchased a used vehicle at ******* Ford, Portland Street, Dartmouth, NS from ***** ******** (sales rep). I completed all the paperwork that was asked for and the sales representative assured me that I did not need to go to the Dept of Motor Vehicles as he was going to register the vehicle for me ( I also have a text message that is still on my phone from ***** stating he was going to do the registration for me and that I would not need to go to the Dept of Motor Vehicles myself). On Sunday Oct 9, 2022 my husband was pulled over driving the vehicle I purchased from ******* Ford and issued a fine for driving without registration ( the vehicle was still registerd to ******* Ford). I called ***** on Tuesday, Oct 11 to have the issue resolved and I was hoping they would cover the cost of my fine but they argued that they did nothing wrong and never offered this service to me (even though I have written confirmation stating he would register my car). ***** offered no resolution or apology. I then contacted ***** *******, Used Car Sales Manager and he also offered me no assistance; he actually hung up the phone while I was talking to him and then I contacted ****** *******, Dealer Principal who listened to my complaint, assured me that yes they register vehicles regularly for customers and that he would look into the matter and get back to me right away. I never heard back from ****** ******* regarding this matter.

    My vehicle was less than a year and a half old when my check engine light came on. I took it into the dealership, and my fuel tank pressure sensor had failed. Based solely on the fact that my car was undercoated over 6 MONTHS prior(!), they claimed it was contaminated by the undercoating. I requested help on appealing the decision on their website and was ignored. In good faith, I had them repair it and requested to have the failed pressure sensor returned to me so that I could have it investigated by an engineer I know, since they didn't bother to investigate it themselves, and the tech agreed to return it to me. When I picked up the car, the girl behind the desk knew nothing of my request, and the techs had gone home for the day. My calls weren't returned when I called the day after. 36 hours later I called and the service tech said he "forgot" to pass on my request. I immediately called the service manager, **** ********, who tried to claim it sat on the bench "for 3 days" before they decided to throw it out. Obviously a lie since I had the work done 36 hours ago. The service manager promised to get in touch with his warranty people and have that paperwork forwarded to me, as it would have more details that would support their claim and allow me to seek reimbursement from the undercoating company. The service manager never returned my phone call, and ignored several messages I left. I resorted to blocking my number to get him to answer the phone and which resulted in him providing me a copy of their workshop manual codes for the failure which had 1 possible cause of failure being contaminated by undercoating and 5 other causes that would be covered under warranty, which we're never investigated. I asked him about the warranty paperwork he promised me and he claimed he could not provide the warranty paperwork because it was "in an electronic space", and could not be sent to me.
