I just purchased a car from this dealership and the day that they delivered it to me. I called them with a complaint because my radio is not working. They are giving me every excuse in the book why they’re not going to replace it. I took it to a professional sound place called sound effects, and they diagnosed the radio is busted. I am unable to listen to music at all. And they will not help me replace it. As I just said, I just purchased this car from them. I’ve only had this car for five days now and I’ve called every single day to try to talk to the manager and the sales person won’t let me talk to him. I’ve called them with a quote and they will not cover this. The sales guy just keeps on telling me “what do you expect for a five year old car”. I can send you a video of how my radio sounds if you wish. I tried to upload a video, but it wouldn’t let me.Business response

Prior to delivery of the vehicle I personally drove this car and experienced no problem with the radio. The lady who delivered the vehicle to the customer said she had no problem with the radio during her delivery. If the customer would like to bring the vehicle back to us to show us the problem it may be something we would help with but it is not our intent to have an expensive stereo upgrade completed at our expense.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: the day this care was delivered to me I contacted ***** right away within the hour to tell him the speakers were busted and I sent him numerous videos of that to prove it. The stereo system goes from level 1-40. I do not get any volume until I hit level 20. And I can only somewhat listen to the radio at level 25 no higher. Once it goes past level 26 the speakers are very fuzzy and unclear. I have sent him video evidence of this. I also told him the following weekend I was in Dartmouth and I could go show him and he denied that. I am 4 hours away from Dartmouth and I should not have to drive to show him this. I also got this diagnosed by a professional stereo sound company called “ soundafex” and they diagnosed it as my stereo. I shouldn’t have to pay ANYTHING to have a working stereo in a 5 year old vehicle. I do not accept this answer. I would like the stereo replaced!

I just checked with a used parts supplier and they are sending me a replacement stereo from the same make, model and year vehicle. I will have it by next Wednesday and will make arrangements with the customer to get it to her at that time.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
I am ok with you sending me a stereo. However. I should not be responsible to pay a company to install this. So is your company going to pay the company to install the stereo?
