    I applied for and was approved for an HSBC credit card in November 2021. I used the card for mostly Christmas gifts and made my first payment before it was due. I then tried to use my card after the New Year and it was declined. I tried calling customer service (because you can’t reach the bank itself) to find out why, and they told me that the fraud division locked my card and they required me to prove my identity and proof of income. I waited almost 2 months for someone from the bank to contact me regarding this. Someone called me and I told them how happy I was that someone was finally getting back to me and it was only someone asking me to make a payment. I told them that I couldn’t because I was locked out of my card and the app wouldn’t allow me to. They said, okay we unlocked your card so you can make a payment, but I checked and it turns out that they lied. Some time went by again, and I reached customer service to finally get this cleared up because this is affecting my credit and they said the same thing. No one could help me unlock my card. Now I am locked out of the app completely and there really isn’t a clear way to log in any longer. It sends you in a continuous loop. My problem is, I’ve read many pages of reviews on this bank of so many regretful customers who have had their credit destroyed by this bank. So I’m worried. I want to be able to have the app back so I can pay this debt off and close it out properly, all the while being able to keep an eye on it so that they don’t try to charge me any funds after it’s closed. (As what’s happened to many others). And I would also like to know why my card is continuously locked after making my first payment. This has happened to so many others. I’ve read so many similar stories. I would like to speak to someone who can help me gain access to my account/app and be able to make timely payments…and no tricks. Thank you, **** *************
