Dec. 21 my son purchased hair products from Glamour Secrets as a christmas gift and as the assistant for a volume building hair product and she led him to a display of the one of most expensive products and suggest a product to him. He purchased it advising the assistant that it was a gift for his mom. When I open the the gift the product was not a volumizing building product and not right for my hair. So I never used the product and went to the shop with the original receipt and packaging to exchange for a correct product. They did not advise him that it was not refundable or exchange. The customer before was not advised that either. She advised me " to look at the receipt " and said since covid started they not longer do refund or exchange. Is this reasonable or legal . They are allowing people in the store to touch all the products on the shelf so all I did was handle the product like all customers and staff. I did not open the box as I could see from the labelling it was not a product I would use.The receipts says for health reason we not except returns or refunds on hair products. The customer before was not advised of the no refund policy either. I feel they are not being fair to the customer. Had she told my son that I could return it he would not have bought from them. As he was not sure the lady gave him the right product. As the product he bought was one she picked not himself. The lady was rude and her attitude basically said to bad for you. This product was 69.99 with tax 80.49. Can they really just force a person to except and 80 lost .
