I was looking to take out a loan. Did a ****** search and this company came up. I applied and was approved for a $20,000 secured loan. I had the choice to have someone co sign or I could pay an amount. I had a secured credit card once and they always require an amount up front in case you don’t make payments. After filling out the required paper work I needed to do a deposit of $1238.25 (6 months of payments). On nov 18th I e-transfered this amount. I was told I would be receiving my loan amount that same day. They then came back and said the company couldn’t release the loan without a years worth of payments secured. I said I’m sorry I don’t have that extra money so I’m going to have to cancel the loan and you can just send me back the secured deposit. As this was a Saturday they said that their boss was in on Monday and could possible over ride it so I could get the loan with just the funds I had already sent. On Monday they said I would receive the funds in my account later that day. Didn’t happen when I questioned it they said I needed the extra amount. I said no forget it just give me my money back. They said ok it would be refunded in 2-5 days. Never happened. Through emails they have said they’d send an etransfer or that it will definitely be sent today. My last email where someone actually replied was on Nov 27th. I have sent other emails but just get an automatic reply that the office in closed.
