    Occurred on July 19th. I had booked this moving company to move me from my apartment to my new home. They gave me a quote and conformed I had booked a 20ft truck with 3 movers. The morning of moving day arrived, the movers showed up in a 12 ft * **** truck. They took the sofa down and 1 small dresser then decided at that point which was 20 mins in that they would not be doing our move. They said it was because I have a cat and said all 3 of them are allergic to animals so they can't move my stuff. I had my cat locked away from them the entire time so she would not be in the way of their moving. After getting upset with them they agreed to move the couch, a bed, 2 dressers and a piano but left everything else. When dropping those few items off at my new home they smashed my piano into the door frame of my office putting a cut in the door frame and leaving paint scuffs on the piano. They also almost damaged the piano as they were not lifting up the patio steps properly until I got mad.

    DONT! Just don’t choose these people. They charged me 600 over what they quoted me. Thousands of dollars with of damages . They didn’t wrap anything. Paper and boxes were bought from them. Instead of using boxes , they were so lazy they threw breakables, shoes, toys in a garbage can . I have tons of pictures ! Everything was filthy dirty . A man brought my bedding in wrapped In duck tape with his filthy hand not to mention the smell of cigarettes and cannabis was unreal. Very unprofessional, unprepared, sloppy . That describes these movers. Please don’t go down this route . My dresser, bed, kitchen table , tower fansX3 , computer desk, children’s toys , pictures frames and pictures that were scratched beyond belief , laundry hampers, patio class table. Words can describe the hurt and money , that this business did to myself and my children with special needs. . They brought my tv into the house not boxed, wrapped or anything . Stuff was just thrown . I watched them on my surveillance camera then drove over but they had already left . Slower then a title going downhill . Im not paying for their 15 smoke breaks they had and lunch that they charged me. Im in the process of taking them to court. The damages are so bad. Please reach out to me and I can show you their packing skills before you ever chose them. I regret it incredibly.

    I have to start off by saying that yes ******* is taking discount movers to court. She is looking for $900

    But reading her review she says we cost her thousands of dollars.

    Now let me start by saying that ******* called discount movers I talked to her about her move. I told her how long I thought her move would take. I told her how much we charge per hour. But she insisted that her move would not take that long because she was a single mom with two small children. I was late getting to the move because I had to stop to pick up the boxes and paper for packing. When I got there my guys were packing the truck and then we started packing the house. The reason why I stayed was because there was no way that my three men were going to be able to do this job by themselves because ******* had a lot of furniture and a lot of boxes to be packed. Now that we're packing ******* never came by the house she left as soon as my men arrived in the morning. She called all day to find out what was taking us so long we tried to explain to her that she had a lot of stuff. At around the end of loading the truck ******* was furious because it was taking so long. When she was calling the guys she said that this is ridiculous and why is it taking so long but I don't think ******* understood how much she really had. It was a good thing that I had my pickup truck with me because we put the rest of her belongings in my pickup truck because no more could fit in the 26-ft truck that we had with us that day. So of course if the move goes longer it is going to cost more. ******* goes on to say that we charged her for our lunch when she called me finally I had to explain to her how much stuff she had in the reason why the move took longer I also told her that I was with the guys she did not know that I was there so then she started to understand I also told her that we were at her house all day working and we were going to stop at McDonald's to have something to eat. We did not charge her for that time that we stopped.

    Once we arrived at her new home everything that came off of the truck we showed her that some of her furniture had things wrong with it.

    We could not tell her at her old place because she was not there we were in her house all alone. So the only time that we could tell her what we found with her furniture was when we arrived at her new home.

    ******* sat outside the new home and watched us bring everything in the home. We did everything that ******* asked. I don't want to be rude but Mallory's home where we were packing was disgusting everything was all over the floor paper clothes just a total mess. But because she wasn't there we packed everything and yes there were toys in a garbage can but we didn't put the toys in the garbage can it was already there.

    Now she talks about the bedding in her child's room. She was calling so much she was upset that it was taking us so long she talked about her special needs child that they were on their way home so yes I did roll up the bedding so that when the children got home all I had to do was put the bed back together and roll the bedding back out on the bed. It was not wrapped in duct tape.

    I can go on and on about this move but I do not wish to be rude.

    I appreciate every customer that calls discount movers.

    When the move was over ******* paid the bill and even gave the workers each tips.

    The next day she called me about how much the move cost but she paid the bill that night she never inquired a boat how much it cost because she had a lot more than what she thought she had she told me this and here we are today.

    ******* is taking us to small claims court in Bridgewater on October 5th for $900 I have three witnesses and ******* says she has a camera footage so everyone can see the job that we done.
