            By telephone, i ordered 7 tons of stone @ $338.85/ton delivered. Order #416189 2023/5/10 stone was dropped in Driveway. Both my husband and I asked the driver several times if this was 7 tons as it looked like a small pile and only occupied about 1/4 of the space in his truck. He replied yes, two bucket loads is 7 tons, I signed the delivery slip which showed 9.90. No scale measurement was defined. I assumed I was signing for 9.9 gr. which is exactly 7 tons. I received an email invoice for 9.9 tons. I called the company and was told that if I didn't want the extra, I can pay to have it picked up. I asked why they didn't take it back off the truck after weighing it instead of assuming i could afford to pay for it. He had no answer. They abused my credit card to charge an extra $1000.00 plus tax which really put me in financial distress. My neighbor who does blasting for roads said he's heard this story several times and does anybody really know how much they're actually getting. These practices are unconscionable.
