My vehicle ( Dodge Caravan ) has been at Atlantic Dodge Dealership for 12 weeks.The reason I have been given is they only have 1 hoist (lift) working and there is another vehicle on the hoist waiting for a part. I have had numerous conversations with them asking for an update. My vehicle has not even been diagnosed yet let alone parts ordered for it. I have FOUR children and work full time. I live about 15Kms from my main office,but my job extends and requires me to travel within to the entire Eastern Zone. My husband leaves for work at 3am in his work truck. (does not fit all of us in by the way) I have had to ask someone else for a ride or take a taxi $20 one way every single day (Mon-Fri) for the last 12 weeks. We have missed an allergy appt in Halifax at Halifax Allergy that we waited months for, we have had to reschedule ortho appointments at *** *****s in Truro, I have been unable to pick up a sick child from school, etc. I could go on all day about the HUGE inconvenience this has been and how it is impossible to manage living in the country, well outside of town with a demanding job and four children who are heavily involved in basketball, hockey, baseball, TKD, art,..and this week its trying to arrange drives for afterschool exam reviews. I am exhausted, and can't keep cancelling appointments/ meetings, trips etc. This is ridiculous. ***** at Atlantic Dodge got approval for a rental but it has to be a Dodge Product. Apparently my name is on a list in three towns (Antigonish,Port Hawkesbury, and NG) but so far I have only been able to have a "Dodge Product" rental for a total of 6 days. My vehicle has not been diagnosed, no parts have been ordered..so we are still looking at some time here. Please, ,I cannot tell you how much this is affecting my job and my life / life of my family. My kids are out of school in two weeks, we have plans, I still have to get to work, they have to get to sports/camps/appts.. their own little jobs. ( ..Babysitting, Mowing..)
