I have a VW Tiguan still covered under Powertrain Warranty. All of a sudden my fuel injector stopped working and it is not drivable. ** *** * ****** *** ****** ** ***** *** *** *** I was concerned because VW does not offer loaner vehicles and therefor they left me stranded. Then I was told by one dealership that the repairs would be covered and told by another dealership that the repairs would not be covered. So I decided to call VW Canada to get clarification. I had to call everyday for a week as they would say they would call me back and never did. Finally they told me they would not cover it and warranty would not be honoured. I asked to speak to a supervisor and four days later I’m still waiting. The customer relations agent I spoke to last told me point blank that the supervisors are always busy and that he wouldn’t change the decision made anyways. What kind of customer service is this? For such a large company I’m in shock in the level of ********** service I have been provided. The issue with my vehicle is a service problem and I deserve to have my issue rectified under Power train warranty as stated in the agreement. These customer service agents want to be treated with respect, well I too deserve to be treated with respect and fairness.Review from Rebecca B

I own a vw atlas bought new. Financed with VW. Just this week I found my under laying interior soaked when I removed my rubber mats to clean them. I left the mats out holing whatever was happening would dry up. It did not. I took my suv into simcoe vw and while doing oil they found that my av was draining into my suv and now it's full of mold! They told me I would be at fault it's not a defect. I called vw canada and got no where with them. One of the agent lied to me saying simcoe in good faith actually went ahead and put new carpet in and I would just owe 255. I thought that was odd called simcoe and they said they haven't heard from vw canada n they put My suv back together with old carpet cuz na from vw canada! Needless to say I now have to drive around with mold or pay close to a grand for something that I didn't cause. ** ****** *** *** ********* And I'll never buy another vw again.Review from Jance M

* **** **** ** ***** **** ******* ***** **** ***** * ***** ** * ****** ***** ****** ** **** *** i purchased a 2018 tiguan in 2020 (used with 65k), pick up was the day before lock down. fast forward 2 weeks; we hit our first issue, ***** ** * ***** *** ****** ******* ** ** **** *** ***** **** *****. tried to call dealership, no answer, tried to contact vw canada, no answer. toughed out the problems for approximately 4 months before i was finally able to get in contact with the dealership. (now after the no obligation return window/ 3 months). booked an appointment, billed for more than $500 for a diagnosis, multi point inspection.. **** **** ******, mechanics said nothing wrong with vehicle, cant replicate codes or problems. it has been returned to dealership 8 times now with the same resolve, nothing fixed for the money spent.. today vw canada customer support hung up on me TWICE, and finally one representative gave me the run around wasting my time for 20 minutes finally saying it is now out of warranty, it is my responsibility, and ******** hung up. ** **** *** i have dropped more than 15,000 in parts and my time in repairs on this vehicle with 20k owing still. vw canada WILL NOT EVEN TRY to make anything right. with me simply requesting that they pay for a ECU and PCM re-program. this vehicle is no longer safe for highway driving as it stalls randomly even doing 100km/h on 400 series highway. throttle lag etc. I am done with vw and do not recommend their product to anyone.. *** ******* **** ****** mechanics only go off of what a computer tells them, and customer service is some of the worst ive ever experienced.Review from Emily C

I am so appreciated the advertisement . It brings the old women to have good memory about she was young to drive her car and what technique and fast she drove. The advertisement is so creative and good idea. the writer wrote the good story. The old lady and actor present very energetic and full of confidence.Review from Christian D

They (VW) pushed out their North American made ID 4 too quickly. My doors unlock on their own, my windows go down on their own (when I'm sleeping), the information system crashes, the door locks have always been a problem. There has been a recall on the locks already, another on the sunroof. This really is a terrible car and my biggest car buying mistake ever. I am unloading it after 12 months and am really upset at how much money I will lose. Life is too short to sit in a terrible, frustrating car. Do better VW!Review from Stephanie H

I have a 2014 Touareg TDI which developed an oil leak on left cylinder head/valve cover @170,000km. The Extended Emissions Warranty VWC issued resulting from Emission Recall 23V6 (VW Diesel *******) for my car is valid until Apr 28, 2024 or 193K km whichever comes first. On that comprehensive warranty it stated, among many things, "Additionally, the engine long block warranty shall cover the engine subassembly that consists of the assembled block, crankshaft, cylinder head, camshaft and valve train." I brought the car for the oil leak repair at a VW dealer and sought reimbursement from Volkswagen Canada (VWC) but was denied. After my numerous emails and voice calls to VWC, VWC reasoned that the dealer said the left valve cover oil leak was not covered under the extended emissions warranty. I argued that only VWC has sole decision on warranty coverage and I even presented a comprehensive list of parts covered (which included the cylinder head cover) from VW USA Bulletin VWP-17-12 which I believe VWC has a similar if not the same list (which they are not disclosing), to no avail. VWC not honoring their commitment per the Extended Emissions Warranty, ** ** ******** ** ********** ********** *** **************** I also currently have a 2021 Audi S4 and am now worried that should some warranty-covered defect arise VWC may deny/not honor their warranty obligation. I will not be here if VWC did not have this Diesel ******* and issued the Extended Emission Warranty. Very disappointing.Review from Owen S

I bought a 2015 Golf TDI in 2019. In February 2022 the Adblue warning light came on with a mileage countdown that car would not start after 500km if the issue isn’t fixed. It turns out to need a new Adblue tank, covered under warranty, just have to wait for the part… it is now 18 months later the eta on the part is always next month… it never comes. It is never going to come. Even if it arrives, my car is nothing but junk. VW say they care about costs and the customer.. to date the rental vehicle has cost over $25k the parts to get the car road worthy will exceed $5k. The local dealer are trying to facilitate a trade assistance but VW Canada will not cooperate. They don’t care about the wasted money or customer. Looking for legal action or a reasonable solution.Review from Christian P

2015 Jetta TDI owner from new. Most reliable car I ever bought. Only regular maintenance and no complaint. I did read the reviews here and seems like the dealerships are to blame not VW CanadaReview from Fraidoon Q
