Christine was amazing and price was fair. She gave e me a lot of attention and i wud recommend her...however I don't like the practices of the salon itself. I took advantage of the 2 for 1 special for gift cards. I wanted 3 unicorn pedicures for my grandkids and specified that. Yet u don't get a gift card but credits on ur account. I wanted 3 prepaid gift cards for pedicures. The day I took them in...after the pedicure I was told the prices had increased and was now double. That's terrible to give somene a gift and be slammed with a bill especially a child. Good thing it was me who was with them. Christine was great and a compromise was found as i had sufficient credits on my account.. after that...altho i still had a balance on my account i never went back for anymore service but wanted the balance on my account to go to Christine., an honest nice person Unfortunately that won't happen as I was informed they are closing the salon and any balances are now closed and no refunds. I just had a bad gut feeling all along.Review from Connie B

I took my 16 year old
daughter to Beauty and Babes Salon in Barrie in February. The owner had let go my daughter's stylist a couple of weeks prior to her appt, and we were not notified. The owner grumbled about how she didn't have time for this but told my daughter since she was dropped off that she would do the cut and color for her. My 16 year old daughter got her bank account emptied of $400.00 for an incomplete cut and style. There was absolutely zero accountability for the owner as she stated she does NOT issue refunds. She intimidated my daughter by bad mouthing her former staff member and rolling her eyes at anything my daughter said. The only recourse we had was to go back into her salon so she could fix it. This was not an option as I was furious with her taking advantage of a child. She literally chopped 8 inches of her hair when told only a trim. The owner Melissa F. is the only salon owner I know who charges based on the amount of chemicals used as well as a sitting fee, but the pricing is meant to be ambiguous and confusing to those not in the industry, allowing her to overcharge outrageously. She will not give a price prior to the procedure, only after it's completed. She also asks for a $60 deposit at booking which is non refundable. She ******** offers an excuse for why people complain about her prices and attitude.Review from Frances L

Absolutely the worst haircut I've ever received in my life was from Tonni @Beauty & Babes Salon it is been almost a year later and I'm still trying to recover after multiple haircuts from the butcher job that I received from the salon.. I*************************************************************** **************************** I know now that this is not a one-time mistake.. the worst part of it all the owner didn't even have the decency to apologize for this catastrophe

That fact that she does not work there or not is irrelevant. Many people have had unsatisfactory hair results from the salon from various stylists including the owner . The trauma that I endured was barely acknowledged.. the salon owner didn't even have the decency to apologize absolutely disgraceful haircut that I received last yearBeauty & Babes Response

I am a little bit confused by your statement as it does look like according to our records this was pre our no refund policy that was implemented and it looks like according to our records we actually sent you back an e-transfer due to being sympathetic; we do apologize if you felt that we were not sympathetic to your needs.
