I purchased a sauna from Jari for a cash price in January. After dropping off the sauna late February (for a higher price than agreed on), I couldn't get my new sauna to reach proper temperature. Jari suggested several things such as trying new wood, adding a higher stove pipe which I picked up and installed myself, and then adding a new stove which his crew installed for an additional $500. From day #1 the sauna was wet and cold and never came to proper temp (it sat around 115-120 after running for over an hour). Throughout this process Jari told me several times that he would come over to see what the problem is, but then never did - leaving me hanging. After weeks of this, I approached him on April 5th in his office and requested a solution. He admitted to a structural error with the sauna and we agreed that he would take back the faulty one, and build a new one and I would cover any additional costs above what I had already paid ($8400). After another several weeks of Jari giving me the run around and no definite timeline for the new construction, I started pressing him for answers. He gave me excuses about why they hadn't started my sauna etc etc giving me no reason to believe he was actually going to build me a new one. I then fired up the sauna to show him pictures once more of the thermometer to the fact that the sauna wasn't getting to the right temperature, even in the spring weather. Due to the sauna being wet from the winter and never getting hot enough to dry out, some mold had accumulated in the interior (the wood was wet from the start). Once noting this in the photo, Jari blamed me for improper use of the sauna (not drying it out), and accused me of neglect. He literally said "I know you stopped taking care of it because it was coming back and you just didn't care anymore". The irony is that it was wet because it never got hot enough to dry out, and I wasn't even able to use it properly once, so how could I neglect something I was never able to use?
