I submitted an insurance claim on June 1st to my insurance. Within a couple of days, the claims's adjustor immediately came to the house and contacted the company First On to do the assessment. Mrs. ****** ***** assigned from First On to do the assessment has yet to submit her report. We have hired a lawyer, to no avail. She will not provide the report to the claim's adjustor. The company itself is not holding her accountable. She is also refusing to give us a copy of the report that she claims she has done. The water damage is extensive in the basement and in the roof. Some of the damages were delayed in getting repaired because of Mrs. *****, leaving us exposed to health hazard caused by mold. The delay was so she can do the assessment. We had no choice, 3 months later, we went ahead and had the basement repaired. The roof remains to be repaired. We tried to mitigate further damage, but we cannot wait much longer as this will cause more problems and eventually impede on our health. Please help us.Business response

After conducting an internal investigation into this matter, I can definitively state that the Complainant is mistaken in the recitation of the history. Specifically, the Complainant’s sole request is for First Onsite to produce the inspection/site reports; however, Ms. ****** ***** forwarded the inspection/site reports, and all revisions thereto, on the following dates to the carrier:
July 21, 2022—Initial Site Report sent (copy attached)
August 15, 2022—Revised Site Report sent
September 8, 2022—Revised Site Report sent
October 20, 2022—Revised Site Report sent (copy attached)
In total, Ms. ***** from First Onsite forwarded four (4) reports since July of 2022. Unfortunately, First Onsite cannot force the Complainant’s insurance carrier to render a decision in a timely fashion as that is between the carrier and insured. We did, however, timely submit reports and revisions which, per the BBB Complaint, is the exact recourse the Complainant was seeking from First Onsite.
