in July 2021 we purchased approx 4000sf of flooring from liquidators after they had sent their Team lead Installer to inspect our home&take measurements. We were told there is no issue to install luxury vinyl over our existing hardwood. No concerns from their end. Not even 2 months later the floor started breaking. I notified the Managers & they came twice with an inspector from the manufacturer who issued a report stating that installation should had NOT happened as the original hardwood and subfloor were showing inclination, deeps and valleys in several spots throughout the house. Product purchased ******* by **** specifies threshold acceptable for floor to be installed. I have the report. For flooring & installation we paid $22K. There are damages throughout the whole house upper/lower level where pieces join. The Value of our home has depreciated. I asked the manager for a solution and his solution is to pay to their company another $29K. They will not charge removal of vinyl nor the cost to replace the floor which is fair. However after having so many problems with the quality of their work & especially ethics as they should had not installed the vinyl without warning us of the condition of original floor and risk so we could have done all necessary work in the 1st place. We asked for a full refund and being ignored. I have emailed multiple times and they dont answer. They have depreciated the value of our home, they have caused us discomfort walking on our own floor throughout the house that has started lifting. ** *** ** **** ** *** * ****** ** * *** to fix this issue we have to incur the cost of emptying a whole house Again to have it re-worked. The inconvenience alone is Significant ** ** **** ******** *** ****** ** *** ******* ** ** **** to be fully reimbursed and allow us to find a reliable company that can fix the problems for us after almost a year and a half since the problems started. Thank you
