We purchased a dining set on Feb 5th 20 2023. Upon first delivery (free delivery was apart of the contract) it was delivered damaged. Upon 4 attempts to deliver a brand new set, each time the item came back either rusted, cracked or dysfunctional. We were patient throughout this process and each time it was delivered, we were advised that Friends Furniture (***** and *****) would inspect the product prior to delivery. This clearly did not happen otherwise we would not have had to return the item 4 times. After 4 failed attempts we asked for a full refund (via phone call and email) at which point we were told a partial refund can only be made for the table and we were forced to keep the 4 chairs. What am I going to do with 4 chairs and no table? I was quoted on the phone for the refund of the table ($960) and when I arrived to the store, the owner, ***** *****, had the audacity to tell me that they are no longer giving me a refund for the quote they provided on the phone but instead giving me $600. I had originally received an invoice for the entire set, it was a full set purchase for $1700. So when I asked for the invoice on the cost of the individual table and chairs, they weren’t able to produce it and ***** ***** proceeded to yell that I had “no authority to ask him for an invoice”. ***** ***** ********* **** ** ****** ** ****** ** ** ******* ******* **** ****** ** * ******* **** **** ******* ** ******* You cannot tell me that I cannot ask a question. I’m at a loss of $740 because of this. I also was forced to drop off the table back to them (when they promised they would pick it up). I had to rent a truck to return the table and because of this I had to pay $50 for the truck. I am requesting for confirmation that the chairs were priced at $740. They purchased the chairs from “******** *******”. I also need my $50 for the truck rental which they were supposed to pickup. Total loss = $790
