They did not provide us with a phone number to contact them, nor can you find it publicly. We did everything via **** and online, they refused to call us and made excuses for not being able to do a phone call. Alot has happened, but to summarize On May 7, 2021 we retained vidmedia's services to film and photograph our wedding. Prior to booking them, we had a **** call to discuss to see if they were a good fit for us and if they could specifically accommodate our needs as we are two interracial woman getting married. One of the specifics we discussed in detail were was vidmedia able to film two brides walking down the aisle towards eachother at the same time. They reassured us that this could definitely be done, especially since we chose a package which included 2 videographers and 2 photographers. This was one of the main reasons why we booked them. On top of this inital call we again discussed this with vidmedia via **** on October 12, 2022 just prior to our wedding which was October 23, 2022. They once again reassured us and not to worry. They being the owners **** and ******. They only captured 15 seconds of ******, the bride walking down the aisle, and it was clear from the raw video (which we paid $300 extra for)that ****** was not even prepared to do so. We have brought this to both ****** and ****'s attention two times via email, as again they refused a phone call. They did not acknowledge that they missed capturing ****** and her father walking down the aisle properly, there has been no explanation as to why ****** was not prepared to capture this, and there has been no apology or compensation for not providing us with the service we discussed and paid in full for. We paid a total of $9148.48 to Vidmedia to capture our wedding properly and professionally and explicitly discussed the importance of capturing both brides walking down the aisle. Unfortunately they also did not provide us with a photoshop service which again was promised to ***** the bride from ****** the day of the wedding. ****** placed a black lapel mic on ***** the bride, wearing a white dress. When doing so ****** told *****, "don't worry, as we will photoshop the mic out" So I assumed that when we received our final wedding package on January 16, 2023 that as ****** advised, that the black lapel mic would be photoshopped out of the edited professional pictures. This was not the case at all. When we again confronted videmedia about this three times via email, one of their responses is below: "1. I am not sure what was said in person regarding the mic, but most likely she would have said “it is possible to remove” or “it can be"; Not that "it will” be removed. Extensive photoshop work like this is always possible as mentioned in our booking terms but is an add on order of course upon request. The alternative to no mic would have been having horrible audio which believe me, would be the worst end result for your content. We could have also deleted majority of images showing a mic and lower the overall count but provided you with all of the pictures even though we are not required to do so. 25. Any non standard photo retouching, removals of features/people , background items, or specific cropping or editing may be possible upon request and examination. Requested workloads are subject to additional surcharges based on complexity per image and may only be requested after project delivery." Obviously that was not the reply we expected. As you can see above their response does not solve an issue that they created. They were clearly not prepared yet again to provide us the clients a proper service. Why would an owner of a luxury professional filming business apply a black lapel mic on a bride the day of the wedding, say not to worry we will photoshop it out, then after we paid in full, come back and say the above. There was also no prior discussion to us the brides about a mic being an issue, there was no other alternatives or discussion about this mic other than the day of the wedding which again, myself the bride was advised by ******, not to worry as they will photoshop the mic out. *** ** ***** ***** *** *** **** ** ********* *** ***** ** *** ****** *** ******* ** ***** **** *** ***** ******** ** ******* *** ***** ******* ***** ******* ********* **** ** *** **** ******** they had the tools and resources to solve the mic issue, they still do. ****** and **** are just actively refusing to do so unless we pay for the photoshop services or unless we sign a legal document which I will quote below. (We have not and will not sign the below, **** *********  "The client will cease and desist any further complaints directly/indirectly with the contractor. Any direct or indirect comments/dialogue in any form of medium that are found to be slanderous, defame character/brand image, interfere with business expectancy, violate privacy rights, or breaches the original booking terms or this additional clause will be governed by and construed under the laws of Ontario and may lead to legal consequences if found" Their responses to us have been appalling. What we are hoping to get resolved is a reasonable refund for services we paid in full for, that we did not receive. We at least expect $3000 back, for creating an issue where we now need to pay someone at least $600 to photoshop a black mic out of 76 photos and although you cannot put a price on not capturing the bride walking down the aisle, we feel $3000 back is reasonable and will at least make us not feel as robbed as we do now. Emotionally we and our family have already been robbed of that moment being captured.
