Rutherford Transmission has done complete transmission rebuilt on April 06 2021 on my **** **** truck . since first day of repair, truck is not shifting gear correctly at 80 KMH speed . Upon my complaint to Ricky C. (owner) has said repair has done right on truck,this issue (not shifting gear) is not his concern it is related to another problem.i took my truck to another auto mechanic and ask for his advise on this issue.he did not find any other problem but suggested me to drive it for while and see if this problem get worse or go away after a while.Neither it got worsen or go away. So i got back to Ricky by email in Jan 2021 and told him that problem is still there, he said drop my truck to him and he will put another transmission in to the truck and if problem still exits after swap he will no longer be responsible for warranty issue.Even though i did not like the sound of another transmission, but i dropped my truck to him at beginning of Jan 2021 in the evening and next day he called me and said my truck got codes that i need took care off before he will swap trany . I took care of those codes and dropped my truck back to him on Feb 15 2021. (At this time i make sure that there are no codes present, by scanning through (OBD 2 code Scanner). The kilometre reading on dash was 288116 KM and on Feb 16 the reading was 288141 KM. on Feb 16 2021 he called again and said my truck has codes again. I did not believe him at this time at all.and get to his shop in the evening to look what is happening.and put scanner on truck and there was code present. i asked him what did you have done to my truck ,how come there are codes now present and was not present when i dropped to you. he did not like my asking and tell me off. Total Cost was $1700. Warranty till April 06 2022. I have payment Receipt but there is no serial number in it. Business did not resolve the issue.
