It has been multiple months since I returned the ****** ** pro 512gb in gold that I ordered from gamestop for a total of $1,565.59 CAD. I never received any further updates from them after I sent it out, it has been delivered for quite some months at this point. I have sent them an email 13 days ago which has still received NO response to this day. **** ** **** ******* ** ** *** ***** ** ******** ******* **** ***** Not a single response was given to me in regards to anything, the return label they gave me is from Canada Post and the tracking number is ****************Initial Complaint

I initially sent an email regarding an experience on July 13, 2021, where I was sold an open copyrighted item (video game) after I had ordered a new copy for in store pickup. *********************************************************** expecting factory sealed items and not previously opened/played items ************************* My email has yielded no response, ************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************I would like to receive a factory sealed copy of the what I had purchased as my invoice does not cite that this is a used game ******************************************. ****************************************************************************Business response

Social Media is separate to Customer Service, so we're not able to speak on their responses unfortunately. Regarding the concern, a standard practice is that a couple of copies of a game may be set up as a display case, with the disc kept secure until sale. These games are in fact brand new. The pre-owned versions of games will be of a different price point and will have a different price/product label (apologies, there aren't any images available to review, in case it is clear that the copy received was a pre-owned one). That said, we would be happy to provide this feedback to the District Manager of the location visited. If you would be able to provide the store address, just so we have the correct location, I will pass along this information so that they're able to follow up with you. Thank you. If you could please provide a preferred phone number, I would be happy to pass this along to the District Manager as noted previously so that they can arrange for an exchange of the game for a factory sealed copy. Regarding gift purchases and the ability to return a product that had been set for display, a clear label is applied to seal the product, and if the recipient or original purchaser decides to return the game, as long as the seal isn't broken, a full refund is granted. Regarding statements from ex-employees, I'm sorry but I can't speak to that directly, however, I can assure you that all New and Pre-Owned products are separated into their own categories when stored securely, and under no circumstance is a pre-owned product permitted to be sold as new or vice versa. I'm very sorry for the experience surrounding this purchase, and again, if you could please provide a phone number, the District Manager will be able to arrange for an exchange in store for you.
