I was looking for someone to repair my oven and microwave. I found Dan's Appliance Repair on the internet. I called this business and spoke to Dan. I explained my issues and asked if he would be able to service my appliances. He asked for the Brand names ( ** *** *********), Model number, and Serial number. He told me he would be able to service these appliances and would be sending someone out to do the repairs. On September 21, 2023 a service man named Mark came. He brought some parts with him for both oven and microwave. On doing some work he found that he did not have the right parts for either. He said he would order the parts for both the oven and microwave and would be back to finish the repair. He insisted that I pay $141.25 for the service call . I paid him by cheque. He said he would return with right parts and would not charge me another service call. I waited for a couple of weeks and called Dan's Appliance Repair and spoke with Dan. I asked when someone was coming to finish the job. At this time Dan informed that he was waiting for parts for the microwave. He then said he does not service ** appliances even thought previously he stated that he was able to do repairs on a ** appliance. * **** ** * ****** *********** At least he would be able to fix my microwave once he got the parts. Again I called Dan as to the status of the microwave parts. He told me he would not be able to fix my microwave as parts were not available for my model of microwave. I asked for a refund and he refused to give me a refund. * ******* **** ** * **** ** ***** *** ****************** I was able to get another service from another business and had parts for my microwave and was able to repair it to my satisfaction. Further I found a service person to repair my oven. Also to my satisfaction.
