In Feb 2022 I contacted Darryl M. to reshingle and replace any deteriorated roof sheeting, install new 5 inch eavestroughs, 4 new down spouts and leaf filters. Inital quote was $18,119.25. The final price was $20,224.18 because of increased number of replaced roof sheeting. The job was completed, as was verbally stated at my front door , by the on-site foreman Laurie B. June 10, 2022. That same day, June 10, 2022, I paid the invoice in full. On June 23 2022 I noticed a punctured hole and a crumpled area in the new eavestrough. I contacted Darryl by phone as I was not getting a response by email. So far I've called his number 8 times and emailed numerous times with pictures of damage, went through the damage with Jay his inspector, who concluded that it has to be repaired/replaced. I talked on the phone with Laurie B., who was the foreman on the job, about it on Sept 2 2022. He said he spoke to his crew about it and all denied damaging the trough. He then said that he would come and see me. That was 16 days ago and this problem has been going on for 3 months and 1 week since it was paid in full with no resolution. Darryl did say that he would take care of it in his e mail on July 01 2022. * ** ***** ** **** ******** *** ******* ** ************* ******. I just want the job to be completed with a new eavestrough, as that is what I paid for.

The Renovation of the total townhome started in 2020 February - and quickly went down hill because there was no supervision of trades working in the home. The project manager was the main contact to the owner Darryl M. - who would not report any issues of deficiencies that he created as a worker on site . I spoke to Darryl about this on numerous occasions. He agreed something needed to be done, but never followed through. Measurement issues of all cabinetry wrong - poor quality workmanship with cabinet installations to the point that I had another kitchen company come in with Darryl to show him all the issues and the poor workmanship - He agreed to replace the kitchen at his cost with the new company ************ and pay him for the new kitchen . He verbally told him in front of ************, myself and my wife. ************ will verify this. When it came time to pay , he came to me asking for money and I terminated our agreement via a lawyer and had a separate adjuster come in **Update Sept 22** ********** *********** key areas of concern - no supervision of workers - project manager was a worker who made most of the errors which were not reported. Trades were sub par and grumbled about Mackereth's quote model that maximized profits to him and made the trades rush through their work to move on to other better paying jobs. Electrical , plumbing , tiling work sub par as per ********** report sent to Darryl. Fireplace had to be rebuilt - electrical plug for tv was under the metal TV wall mount. nothing fit together and custom bookcases were cardboard backed and bought at **** with shelf holes filled in . tilers used grinders to cut tile instead of water saw ...rough cut. ********* can in and looked at all showers and drains installed improperly and all showers would need to be ripped out and redone. doors are cut at all different lengths- all trim was not replaced in the house as was quoted . I have spent 3060.00 on storage fees ,lawyers fees and continued repairs on showers doors etc ....I need a refund of 60K minimum as my total is close to 80k 45000K for ******'s kitchen that was destroyed by installers 34100.00 to replace kitchen - ************ who will confirm Darryl said to them he would pay for the new kitchen 11000.00 rebuild fireplace 7332.00 for kitchen pre work and fireplace pre work- ************************ - 4300.00 for ********** report sent to darryl by Lawyer- Included this is last upload I have spent close to 100k on getting things redone and would like to recoup as much as possible . I do not want to use Darryl's trades and would hire my own . they did sub standard work and are not supervised . Darryl may plead he does not have the money but an ex worker told me he got a large inheritance. He also fired the designer after our job that he told us was qualified to design but wasn't. He also told us that he had 3 crews and it was one worker - who was the project manager with one helper that did the bulk of the work with no supervision and they would not report to ****** any errors they made . **Update Sept 23** *********** *********** ******************************************************************************************************************************************* ************************* tiling issues in upstairs ensuite - tile cracking because of improper bench install as well as tiling incorrectly measured and not lining up. Shows improper measuring by tilers- also confirmed by ********* this was a substandard install. basement bathroom ******** - framing incorrect for tub causing the tub not to sit flush on quartz- hole for plumbing in correctly measured and open hole at front of tub ...this was the second tub they installed as the first was right up against the glass of the shower ..incorrectly measured and the plumber forgot to put the special plate in the cement floor so the tap moved from left to right from the floor .....they we going to add a piece of steel and bolt it to the wall and we told them that they needed to remove the stand alone tub and what we got is in the pictures I up loaded . I had a plumber from ************************ come in and he took it apart and stated that we would need to rip all of this out and start again as the framing was not built properly and the tub was not set level in the opening **Update Oct 4** *********** *********** *********** fireplace with electrical code errors and **** bookcases which were supposed to be custom built. showing cardboard backing and wood strip to keep the cardboard backing firm . holes for shelving filled with white filler.. I f I had not been on the job site I would not have known about the misrepresentation of custom work. **Update Nov 29** We had ***** ****** *********** into our home to look at the rest of the following repairs- stain on stairs peeling floor grout- master bath continually cracking upstairs bathroom shower tiles cracking - whole shower needs to be redone master bath shower floor and poorly cut tiles need to be removed basement bath - bath tub needs to be redone and reframed - installation done incorrectly shower floor and drain need to be redone as well as poorly cut tiles . vinyl flooring has wrong underpad under it causing the floor to lift and crack joints between flooring . All flooring needs to be lifted out and underpadding replaced In basement
