My husband and I moved into a new home in July of 2020. The paving of the driveway was to be completed by CFJ Paving and this was done in the summer of 2021. Unfortunately, our project was the last of 16 to be done on that day and it appeared as if the asphalt truck did not have enough product to apply a thorough coat. This was noted on our Tarion warranty form and CFJ Paving did make arrangements to correct the problem. They arrived at our home on May 18 of 2022 with a shovel and a bucket of asphalt and proceeded to patch one area of the driveway. They did not address the overall uneven surface with stones poking through and did not bring any heavy rollers to smooth the surface of the patch. Then, I received an e-mail message from CFJ Paving to inform me that their one year warranty does not apply to repair work ************************************************************* and that they would not be returning to our property to do any further repairs. This message came before I had a chance to contact them about my displeasure with the patch job-obviously, they anticipated a request for a follow up repair as the repair was so poorly done. Overall, I am very dis-satisfied with CFJ Paving because of sub-standard work and very poor customer service.
