March 15 2022 contractor sent invoices for overages to contract , I than verified environment Canada statistics for precipitation 2021/2022 which proved that it was not over the 250cm allotted by the contract . I requested he show me his calculation when I questioned him he explained that a trace amount of snow = 1 cm of snow . I told his it is not as it is such a small amount it cannot be counted , he said it is in the contract as they go out to salt all the time . I disputed this as i have never seen them on property during flurries and requested his logs which he failed to provide. I told him this is unethical and not the industry standard practice and would not pay the invoices . I had the same issue last year with him and when I told him I will not pay them he dropped the claim. So I thought he understood the inappropriate practice. This year he is trying the same thing and now I go a collection letter. When I received the contracts for the properties for 2021/2022 snow season the document I signed did not include any additional terms and conditions. I hope other customers of his do not fall for this small illegitimate print is his terms and conditions
