Due to the recent Vaccine passport Mandate the cottage we were renting decided to cancel our reservation due to some of our group not being vaccinated. they also refused to give a refund. the mandate did not allow enough time to get fully vaccinated, even if we tried today we would have to wait 21 days. Camp grounds/cottage rentals do not even land under the new mandatesBusiness response

When sent out the Ontario guide to our customers. That they must be fully vaccinated with proof or if they are exempted they must have a doctor's note for medical reason. For any booking from Sept 22/21 on.
Once we let the customer know she said that her and her ficiance are fully vaccinated and would check with her party to let them know as well. Then received an email from her sister asking what happenings if you are not vaccinated, they where told that they can not come.
We have all the emails to back this up.

I am rejecting this response because: The ontario guidlines do not cover or take into consideration cottage rentals/campgrounds or even hotels, I have attached a portion of the press release from Doug Ford, highlighting what is affected by the vaccine passport mandate. I had also sent it to tumblehome lodge to prove they are not allowed to ask for the passport for their premises.
