I am the owner of a useless Pro Form treadmill that has to be discarded because of the lack of care and concern from the service technician recommended by Fitness Depot-Head Office. The unit had been purchased at Fitness Depot-****** after 18 months, the console started to malfunction. It was no longer covered under warranty. I made the call to the Fitness Depot -****** was directed to their Head Office and they referred me to a technician who specializes in Pro Form maintenance (this same person is affiliated with the ****** store). After several attempts to get the unit looked at, the technician finally did a house call he ended up removing the tray and the console explaining a new part had to be ordered for repair (2019).While I understand the reality of the pandemic and the stay-at-home order, communication and updates ceased about the work order on our treadmill. Attempts to re initiate having this unit repaired were prolonged by lack of response, inaccurate information, setting up appointments and then cancelling, discrepancy in stories about where servicing the unit should happen -onsite or removed and serviced at the shop. Then I found out that no one knew what we were talking about with respect to parts that were removed, even a visit to the store to speak with manager ****, who didnt care and then finally being told we no longer have those parts in the shop, how would you expect me to know where they went? (Total time taken for this 2.5 years)The original technician was no longer wanting to be involved because pretty sure he already knew that this console and tray could no longer be repaired because Pro Form stopped making the parts. He obviously didnt want to be the one to tell me that critical piece of information.There has been no attempt by Fitness Depot to offer alternative suggestions on how to get my machine operational, get a new machinelet alone or let alone the professional decency to explain the situation. They just don't care.
