To whom it may concern, Today January 11th, 2022 at 10:00 am an appointment was booked to replace a pressure sensor in one of my vehicle's tires. I asked if the replacing can be done until noon because I need it the car. I was reassured that it can be done. After waiting until 13:00 I proceeded to the garage location to inquire about the car. I was told that the mechanic was not able to do the job because he couldn't remove the lug nuts on my vehicle's wheel. I was billed instead 80.88 $ for time spend on labour. So I was basically billed for nothing being done and instead of repairs just damage, as I was to find out and waste of time. I went to another garage to do the repairs but I was told that the previous mechanic from Ford damaged two lug nuts on the front wheel of my vehicle. I went back to Ford location to ask for an explanation and my money back. Not only I was refused a refund but the teller pretended not to have the spare parts in stock although earlier he admitted that those parts would've been replaced today if the repair would occurred. I tried to explain that a professional mechanic would not take 45 minutes in labour just to bring double damage to the wheel parts. First of all if a part is seized and stuck other methods of removing should been attempted instead of rounding the nut until it became unusable and than instead to stop the damaging process the mechanic kept going and continue to damage another lug nut in the same manner until it became unusable. I don't know how many people knew about the damage created but who ever knew tried to hide it from me. Not only that I was not told what happened but instead of an apology and spare parts I was presented with a ridiculous repair bill. This is not admissible in a respected business. Ford employees tried to hide the damage and charged me. I would like to ask for official help to get a refund of my money and to be compensated with spare parts to replace the damaged that has been done to my vehicle.

The Client came in for a tire/wheel changeover. Upon initiation of the procedure it was identified that the wheel were extremely over torqued by someone other that us(first time here). Several of the technicians tools were damaged in the attempt to remove the wheels. Client was contacted once it was determined that extreme efforts would be required to remove the Lug nuts. The client decided to pick up his vehicle without proceeding any further. We charged the client for the time involved, but not for the damaged tools.

At the clients request we replaced two lug nuts at no charge to him, he accepted the lug nuts.

We feel no further action is required.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: The technician was unable to choose the proper way to get the wheels off. The damaged tools was the result of his incompetence. Not only he did not stop after damaging my vehicle and his tools but he continued to create further damage by trying to unlock second lug nut and round that up too. After damaging the first lug nut it was obvious that another method should be used possibly with the aid of heat, he kept going and continue the damage. I request full reimbursement and I will proceed to the Small Claims Court if refused. Ford claims falsely my first time there. Another tire  pressure sensor was previously change on my vehicle at their location not long ago.

      Sincerely,

      ******** *****
