Our contract started August 1,2021 The contractor works day, and absent four. Multiple excuses. Works in different places, wants to get money from different sites, does not care about the time, the mess that he has left during his absence, bad quality Till today: November 6, 2021, three months after the starting day , he has not done more than 50% of the contract.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/11/17) */ Client was told about the delay he was fine with it. This year was very busy year. Hard to find materials. It was hard to find interlock and any construction materials. In this project we have used, 80mm interlock, 50mm interlock both we had to source from far away different suppliers. We had to buy black natural stone copping, that I purchased from Brampton and the square cut flag stone I found it in uxbridge. I had to buy lumber for the deck, client didn't like some of the installed boards I had to replace them, I bought materials for pergola, shed, concrete pad, parkwall retaining wall, dimensional stone retaining wall. Cleaned up after his basement renovation. The basement company left a mess in the backyard. We had to clean all that from our way. Client paid 40% of the project cost and got 80% done. When I asked him for another deposit he would bring up minor touch ups that can be done in the final stages. He told me to focus all my guys to focus in the shed then he will advance another's deposit. After focusing and finishing the shed. He did not pay, he told me not to come again. I had to leave my work partially finished. And lost a lot of time and money in this project. I had only one week of work left to finish the entire project. Client didn't pay, client stopped work. Even though we were there everyday to finish the work. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2021/11/18) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) 1st: I did not accept the delay., 2nd : 40% of the project has been done in three months and half. 3rd: HE admitted that he was working in another places while he has a commitment with me .He did wont to get his tools and equipment back and forth as it would cost him a lot . therefore I have to wait till finishing the other projects. Even I have a contract with him. I have his text messages as a prove the he works in another places and I have to wait .
