There was no plan or real educational, scientific or robotics Activities or opportunity for my 11 yr old child. Counsellors were high school or 1st year university students, they could not have contributed to a great experience for my child. *************************************************************** **********************************s.
Overall, my child had bad experience, it was not as advertised or met my expectation. No robotics class, children of ages 4 to 12 all in same room with same theme.
Instead of providing proper education or new innovative learning they were given laptops to use online games and ******* videos. I will never recommend it to any one, already informed several families and will provide ****** reviews online. Shame on their management

I sincerely apologize for the delayed response. Your message was posted on the very last day of the camp season and then we headed into somewhat of a transitional phase.

I am so sorry that you feel that there was no real educational, scientific, or robotics activities or opportunity for your 11-year-old child. Looking at your history, I see that you enrolled on July 13, 2021, for the last 2 weeks of camp (the weeks of August 16 and August 23) and then emailed us requesting to cancel on July 30, 2021. As our cancellation policy was outlined during the registration process and we could not provide a full refund; we offered you several alternatives. After this response provided to you, I do not have any record of you contacting us further. I truly wish you would have provided your feedback during camp, providing us the opportunity to address your concerns at the time.

I see you were registered for the weeks of Minecraft and Superheroes. All four of our themes contained a variety of STEM activities, including robotics. Many activities also have extensions available if any child does not feel challenged enough with the activity. Examples of each theme's activities are outlined on our website and daily at your camp, there was a whiteboard that detailed what was scheduled for the day.

Most of our counsellors are university students from first to fourth year and beyond (ie. Teachers College). Most of these students are studying towards either a STEM-related career, or a career in education. It is possible to have some high school aged counsellors and also possible to have counsellors who are older, who are perhaps on summer break.

Camp is advertised for ages 5-13 years old. Children are separated into 2 groups (cohorts) and as much as possible, they are divided by age. However, families and close friends are grouped together, not always making it possible to separate equally by age.
