*** ** * ***** *** ** ****** * **** **** ****** *** ***** ****** **** **** ******. I called them in August to transport a barrel and they said 2-3 weeks for the delivery. I tried calling and one number left me on hold for 10 minutes, I tried two other numbers and they are not accepting calls or maybe not accepting my calls. I tried a 4th number and finally someone answered, but I would have been better off talking to the dial tone. They couldn't offer me any insight as to the location of my barrel and merely said that I need to call back later. The barrel arrived in Jamaica on the 11th of October, not sure but that sounds like more than 2 weeks. I email them for answers and they conveniently say they called me without success. If I email you that means that is how I wish to communicate, why call. All I can is never again will I use this company.Review from Andrene T

I shipped with them twice and both times I experience a lot of damages , stuffs were broken in pieces and they took no responsibility for the damages. This is the worse company that I have ever shipped with..the owner hides and will not respond to emails. Their customer service is horrible and they ************ rarely answer the phone. Beware of this company.I only use then twice because they ********** my barrels will leave early. They told my barrel will go directly to Montego Bay bit it end up in Kingston for weeks.
This company need to be investigated for accepting people money and not providing the service.

On August 25, 2021 Sea Jamaica Shipping Ltd. issued bill of lading XXXXXXX destined for Montego Bay, Jamaica; the shipper's name Andrene T. At the time of pick-up, Mrs. T. signed to confirm her shipment of three (3) barrels; packed by her and said to contain food and clothing. The cargo was loaded and shipped to destination. Consignee Monifer W. was notified of arrival and she proceeded to clear her goods.
Sometime thereafter, consignee contacted our agent ***************** notifying them of damages to said shipment.
As follow-up, Sea Jamaica Shipping also received an email, a voice note and a video presentation referencing damage to household items and electrical equipment inclusive of security cameras, glassware/vases. The barrels themselves had no damage.
In a voice note, the consignee mentioned that in her dialogue with *****************, the agent confirmed that the shipment arrived without damage. They made reference to the inspection that each cargo undergoes upon arrival. If there was external damage to the barrels at the time of arrival, she would have been informed and the wharf would have prepared a damage certificate record.
Sea Jamaica Shipping desires a comfortable shipping experience for our customers. Of note, the shipper's bill of lading does not document items for which she seeks compensation. At the time of booking, had she declared all items she would have been advised how best to package her goods for shipping. Items shift during shipping and goods not properly packed can result in damage.
Sea Jamaica Shipping is not liable for the contents packed by shipper as indicated on our bill of lading.

I was the one that send all the evidence to Sea Jamaica shipping. It is clear that the damages was caused from mishandling.Yes ,I listed the items as food and clothing because I was told by then that I do not need to itemize everything in the barrel and because food and clothing was the most in it. I have shipped with other companies before and have never experienced anything like that. If you look at the video and pictures you will see that the items were wrapped properly in bubble wrap, sheets, towels etc. Yes, there were no outside damage to the barrels because it was plastic. Please note it's not the first time I experience damages from this company. The first time the barrel was cardboard ,it was visible because the bottom was soaking wet and it was torn apart yet the Agency did not mentioned that to the receiver. And upon calling Sea Jamaica shipping the young man apologize and told me it because I use cardboard barrel. He also told me he would give me a discount if I shipped with them again using a plastic barrel.
Sea Jamaica shipping doesn't put customer first and they cover up their responsibility to people's damages by saying "they did not pack it".They are the worse shipping company in Toronto and I hope people are aware. I am not the only person that experience such negligence and damages, it recorded on their reviews, pay attention everyone. I wish there was a way to upload pictures the on this site.
Then you all can see the damages and decide for yourself. A picture worth a thousand words and I stand by my complain that Sea Jamaica shipping is not a safe,honest or reliable company to ship with.Review from La-Ferne P

This is by far the worse shipping company I have used and I have been shipping for the past 10 years. in an attempt to save $60in the pandemic I used this company and loss 10 times that.
They picked up my Barrel June 30 told me it took 2-3 weeks.
It got there Mid August.
When you call them they take forever to pick up the phone, when they do they put you on hold and then cut you off 70% of the time.
At the location in Jamaica, it took more than 8 hours to get through because they refused to apply the discount given by the Government when travelling and shipping.
When the barrels finally came out they were damaged. Already forced open and ¼ of the things from the top were missing. According to them it was shaken down.
When going through the barrel with my list and receipts, multiple items were missing.
I missed clothes, canned food, school supplies, gloves, wipes, masks, sanitizers.
when I called to complain, they said i should not have taken the barrel when I realize items were missing. but i said i wasn't sure until i got home. they claim insurance covers total loss, not partial loss.
The lady who picked up the phone from their office is only talking about her experience, she barely listens to what you say.
