Work at this new build. As per Ontario building code 2023 . Permit with whitewater Township . All agreed upon work was completed with the exception of 1 pocket door . Contractor offered in good faith after disagreements on invoice pricing to complete small minor tasks for free . Aggressive texts were sent. The companies safe work place policy was violated . Threats to harm to individual or property it was decided no further work would be performed at the residence . Residence is able to be occupied. 99% work has been completed . The residence in question is approx 400sq feet . Ontario prices are approximately 240$ per square foot for new construction this work was completed for just under half that price . Some work was completed for free as well as some material has not been billed for . At this point in time client thought best to part ways. contractor as well as any sub contractors hired are no longer employed there. Offer to complete final inspection , plumbing and esa permits for occupancy have been extended . At no point In time has any paid work not been completed . All work and material was paid for on completion. If any further communication is required please advise .Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: money is still owed to the client from ***** ***** ***** of No Limit Holdings and the work that was done for “free” wasn’t free but due to the money owed to the client which was the equivalent of 8 hours on one day. Money owed to the client is significantly more than the “free” labour that was provided. Furthermore, the client didn’t make physical threats of harm but told the contractor that they were coming to gather the money owed and the interior door that was stolen from the clients property and hung either at another job or the contractors own residence.the work was not complete at the residence of the client which was paid for. Example the down stairs bathroom is still requiring repairs after the contractor cut through drywall in the ceiling etc… more needs to be done. However, the client doesn’t want the specific contractor in question to complete the work as they have made threats to harm the client! The client just wants the money owed to them and each go their separate ways so that they can pay for the work to be completed.
Sincerely,
****** *******
