Most Ottawa Nissan dealerships are highly Corrupted. Started with Agreeing to trade in my used lease to a new one. I told them the honest truth about my monthly budget at first. They appraised my current vehicle and gave me a deal that fitted within my budget. We SIGNED on the deal on March 2023. They had to bring the vehicle from the factory that took 2 months of waiting (not my Choice to wait). So they used my “deposit”, my name, my ID’s to order the vehicle so when it gets here, they could sell it to someone else for more monthly payments right on the spot. After 2 months of waiting, the vehicle got to their dealership on May 29, 2023, they used a minor easy fixable problem that could appear due to the bumper’s design of my trade in Vehicle, (Nissan Rogue 2020, their own product), THAT WAS NOT CAUSED BY AN ACCIDENT, as an EXCUSE to raise my payments just 1 day before picking up the new Nissan Rogue SV 2023 on May 30, 2023. When they knew I don’t have the budget, so they used that to their advantage of selling the vehicle to someone else that is willing to pay more monthly payments than the deal they originally signed on with me, 2 months prior. Corruption. I have been their client for 20 years and this is how they treat their customer loyalties. Be careful they don’t use your vulnerability of any kind to order a vehicle then sell it for higher profit to someone ready and waiting to pay more. I got credit card interests because of the $1500 deposit I paid them for 2 months to reserve the vehicle for me. They owe me that. They waisted my time for 2 months on a deal that was going to be given to another customer for more profit. All that decision was made by their Top manager.

We sold customer vehicle which had to be ordered from the factory. At the time of the deal we appraised customer vehicle. When vehicle arrived we contacted customer to find out that vehicle has damage which wasn't there before. Customer was advised that we need to re appraise vehicle with the current condition. When customer arrived re appraisal was done and we adjusted the trade in value. Damage was done to the front bumper passenger side clips broken etc., missing trim on the fender. Customer refused to proceed with the deal and start using abusive language in the showroom. We kept our part of the agreement and would be more than happy to deliver this vehicle before month end, unfortunately we can't pay the same amount of money for the vehicle with significant damage like for the one without it.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership that was not sold "as is" it was sold to me certified with a 30 day warranty on the safety inspection. After putting about 400kms on the vehicle my brakes started to squeal more than they had been. I was concerned that there was an issue with my brakes. I contacted the salesman who forwarded it to the service manager. I had a phone call with the service manager in which he stated "front brakes were at 9mm... I'm not going to waste my time or yours but truck brakes squeal" this is absolute lunacy. I ended the phone call and as of yet have not been able to take it to a trusted mechanic to have the issue resolved. I'm embarrassed to drive the vehicle I bought a few months ago because the brakes constantly squeal. I don't know if the ticket value of my purchase was not enough to warrant actually servicing my brakes, or if they had the coop student do it. All I know is I need to have this taken care of and the manner in which I was swept under the rug with my genuine concern for the condition of the brakes on my vehicle was absurd.

Clear discrepancy between mileage listed on website and Carfax report for this vehicle. The low mileage reported flags it as a “great price” on AutoTrader despite actual mileage being significantly higher. Mileage on dealer website and AutoTrader are both erroneous

just bought a used vehicle from 417 nissan dealership the vehicle was a 2019 rogue adverised at 30,998.00 and the salesman **** told me the same price i agreed to that selling price and waited for approval on finacing the vehicle, i was told finacing had been approved and that instead of a 15.9 interest rate he found me 10.9 and yes i dont have the best credit, so i come in saturday **rning to pick up the car and he goes through the prices with me the first price on the car i see is 36,305.00 i look at him and say oh taxes must be added and he nods (no he did not actually say the taxes were added to that price anyways my eyes are not that good, and looking at the contract thru a covid screen , made it **re difficult, anyways i did sign the contract , giving my trust to **, anyways i left the dealership and came home to look at the paper work when i did notice right away that the taxes were not added to the list price of the car, and that the actual price of the car was 36,304.00 i called ** at the dealership and all he said was i got you the best financing deal i could get you and whe4n i inquired about the extra 5,304 that i was charged again was told only that he got me the best deal and then said enjoy the ride yes after that i called **** the salesman and again reply was, ** got the best deal he could get you, and that the sales manager would call me (no call) and have sent emails again and again with no reply of where that extra 5,304 came from, because in my way of thinking its easier to get a lower amount of loan than a higher amount, so yes i want a refund of the over charge of 5,304, i do have the ad of the said vehicle and the salesman **** told me the price of the vehicle

      Good Afternoon *****

I believed that we discussed this topic yesterday over the phone. Attached BOS with selling price for the vehicle of $30,098 plus documentation fee of $899 equals $30,997 (advertised price). I went through the BOS and total of $36,304 includes all the lines with exception of extended warranty (including GAP insurance and rustproofing).Let me know if you have more questions. Thank you

417 Nissan Ottawa has been FUCKING me over with my car purchase since I got it. They did not provide my information with to BMO resulting in months of fines that I tried to get resolved but the bank itself was also bs to deal with. Now they’re telling me that my car is not registered to my name in their system so I cannot access my all season tires until I go down there and fix it. They also sold me a super faulty car that has a million glitches without telling me. (AC DOESNT work, Bluetooth is faulty etc) I want them to fix their mistake without me having to jump through 291863738 hoops and as many panic attacks. Just give me my goddam tires and I’ll find someone else to put them on and store them. I can send my vehicle contract showing tires should have access to by email or a better portal as it is a massive document.

On 2021-11-15 my daughter and I went in to 417 Nissan ** **** **** *** *** ******* *** *** **** ***** ***** ********* We test drove a 2021 Nissan Versa SV. The vehicle is advertised on the website for $22,532 minus a $500 dealer discount, resulting in a price of $22,032. Additionally, there are listed 7 "Incentives and Rebates" and it listed a $500 discount for "1st Choice Grad Program". ***************************************************************************************  Two salespeople helped us and they had contradictory information, and after an hour of back and forth with the Used Car Sales Manager (Mr Nasri D*****) he came out to talk to us to clarify the information. (The New Car Sales Manager was not at the dealership but Mr D***** called him to confirm pricing.) Our complaint is that the dealership refused to sell the car for the advertised price of $22,032 minus the factory rebate of $500 for new grads. They stated that the web-advertised price of $22,032 already included a $500 reduction for "Conquest Bonus Cash Program" but that is not stated on the website. Further, the conquest program is a "Manufacturer Incentive", and not a "Dealer Discount" and the website showed that the $500 discount it offered was a dealer discount. The "Conquest Bonus Cash Program" was available as an *additional* discount off the $22,032 price as one of the 7 manufacturer incentives. These things cause me to believe that the way the car is advertised is false. Further, the $22,032 that was advertised is $799 higher than the **** and Mr D***** said that the $799 is a "paperwork fee" that is non-negotiable and cannot be reduced. So they are selling the car for more than ****, and falsely advertising a price ($22,032) and discounts ($500 grad discount) that they would not give. They also stated that the $500 new grad discount is not available for cash purchases, it is only offered with financing. These two amounts add to $799+$500=$1299.

      Business response

      16/11/2021

      Hi ********

Thank you for your email. ** *********** *** **** *** *** **** **** every new car advertised on our website has disclosure that advertised price is a cash price including available cash incentives. Therefore vehicle is available for advertised price with the cash purchase unfortunately you can't combined advertised cash incentives for 417 Nissan website with financing incentives from Nissan Canada website. Vehicle was offered for sale @ $22,032+tax +licensing fees which comes all together to $24,896.16. Mentioned $799.00 documentation fee is a part of advertised $22,032 and follows advertising rules within Ontario. We encourage customers to reach out to us to confirm incentives if they have any doubts on our website ***** ** ** ****** ***** * ********. From my understanding that was Nasri D***** was trying to explain to you. I understand that you came from another dealership and asking us to lower price by $1000 but unfortunately we couldn't do it. I can still offer cash purchase as long as you interested and we still have this vehicle available in stock at $22,032 plus taxes plus licensing or equivalent finance with available incentives for financing program. Unfortunately we can't lower advertised price at the moment. Thank you.
