I had a hair appointment with ************************* of "The Social Blonde" salon in **********, ******* in September of 2022. The appointment was for **** to color my hair, cut my hair, and install hair extensions which I had purchased myself through a third party (not purchased from ****). I brought my hair extensions with me to the appointment under the impression that she would install them in my hair (what we had agreed upon). After my hair color and cut, **** advised me that she did not believe my hair extensions were the right color for my hair, and insisted that in her professional opinion they needed to be lightened in order to match my hair color. I agreed to this. She asked me to give her a week to "work on" my hair extensions, and in one week I would come back to the salon and have them installed in my hair. I agreed, so I left my hair extensions with her at the salon, under the impression I would be returning to get them in one week. After a week or two went by and I had not heard from her, I followed up. She did not get back to me. She eventually answered me in October and told me everything "looked great" and that I could come in to have them installed. We scheduled an appointment on October 25th. She cancelled that appointment on the day of for a personal reason. We rescheduled and she eventually cancelled again - this happened 2-3 times. We eventually rescheduled for Dec 7th. I drove to her salon in ********** from ********* my scheduled appt day (1 hr drive). She was not there. I called and texted with no response. I waited one hour. She never showed. I made many attempts to contact her in the days, weeks, and months after that, and never heard back - no explanation as to why she cancelled and no explanation as to where my hair extensions are. She blocked me on all social media platforms so I cannot reach her. I made a public post about the salon in order to get her attention - she responded and said she would send my extensions in the mail. She never did.
