      The work started on the 21 April 2021 and was completed by 23 June 2021. The amount paid for option 1 of the contract was $7,920.00 (+ $1,029.60 for taxes) As per the contract, the work was to remove existing grass, spread 4 inches of screened new topsoil, fertilize and hydro-seed. The work was done however I am disputing the result of the work and the quality of the topsoil and hydro-seed. The company was aware that we were not happy but they never even tried to come up with a compromise to fix the mess we were left with. It is for that reason we are asking for a refund of $5,000.00, as next year we will be required to hire another company to come and de-weed and re-seed our back yard. ** **** ********* ** ************ ******* ******* *** ************* ******** ** *** **** *** *** **** ****** ** **** ** *** ******** *** *** ***** ***** ** ******* ** **** **********

      I am rejecting this response because:  We do not want to have that inferior hydro-seed & topsoil on the lawn again. They have tried 3 times already and failed. This is why we want a refund so we can have the lawn treated by experts next year.

      ***** ******* request for us to refund her the full amount for thework is unfounded. Afteroriginallydoing the workunfortunatelythe seed didn't take as well as we would have expectedand it ended up with spots that didn't grow as well as it should have. Upon her notifyingus we redid the entire yard and went above andbeyond, even watering it for her on 4 or 5 separateoccasions by sending outa watertruck at no charge sincework was beingdone on the municipal water supply in her area. We did not hear anything from her for a number of months over the rest of the summer and then we were informed that this complaint had been filed. ***** went by her property on October 18th at 4:15pm and took the attached pictures and she has a full lawn. There are a few weeds but that is hard to prevent in a yard of that size, some of the other things growing are differentgrasses that sometimes grow as a result of hydroseeding and will be pushed out by the lawn over time as the grass continues to grow. From speaking with her it was clear that her expectations were for the result you might get from using sod, a product that cost more then twice as much and hiring another contractor todo the hydroseed will not guaranteea better result. The work we were hired to do has been completedas per contract plus some extra work and care at no additional cost so asking for her money back does not seem reasonable and is unjustified.
