October 27th 2021 Hi, My name is ******** ******* and on July 20th of this year, I decided to do a career change. I decided to take the Medical Office Receptionist course at PCDI-Canada. The course price was 647$. The had a price reduction and thought it was a good deal to do a career change and it was nice not to have new debts and to be on the working market faster. The course has been paid in full since day one and I'm 59% completed so far. I'm working hard to keep my GPA at 4 at the moment and I don't want to loose that. Now fast forward to the past month. I called them every week of this month (October) to have missing content added and every time I called, they said they were going to send it to their tech departments and they would get it added on. As of right now, 11am on October 27th, I'm STILL missing the information to move forward in my studies. I'm stuck in my group 3, lesson 11, missing Competency Review answers from Chapter 6 and 7 and then I'm due for a test. I don't want to be penalized on the test just in case they are asking information regarding answers from those incomplete chapters. There were other instances too that on tests there were information that wasn't put in the reading materials and was asked on the test. That didn't made sense and I challenged them on that and they couldn't find the information themselves and they gave me back my points from the test. Their information on the reading material wasn't clear at the beginning regarding videos to watch. I called one time and the lady told me there was videos to watch and that was how it had to be done. I was clueless about that. Every time that I called, the agent says they can't see what the previous agent did. Very Annoying I just want to be able to finish the course, graduate, be proud of myself and be able to be on the working market once again. Please help my education content to be full again and to have no more missing information. Thanks ******** *******

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/11/15) */ BBB Case Number: XXXXXXX Student Name: ******** ******* Student Number: MOXXXXXXXX To Whom It May Concern: I welcome the opportunity to address Ms. *******'s concerns. Ms. ******* enrolled into the Medical Office Receptionist Career Certificate on July 20, 2021 by submitting a signed enrollment agreement and payment in full. I will attach a copy of the agreement. The Competency Review section in Lesson 11 of Ms. ******* study material asks Chapter 5 Competency Review questions only. As a result, we would only provide the answers for the question the student is asked to review. All Competency Review answers can be located at *********************************************************** (please redact link when posting). Any review section is an overview of the most important points of the content and not meant to be all inclusive of every item covered within the lesson. Students are responsible for completing all reading assignments because any of those materials can be included on the exams. Exams in the program are open-book so the student can reference those materials through the process. Ms. ******* did inquire on a question in the past on Quiz 5. Five points were awarded to Ms. ******* as the question was not fully updated. We do appreciate Ms. ******* letting us know of the error. ***********************************************************************************. If you have any further questions, please contact me at (570) 961-4014. Sincerely. Andrew K. Sr. Escalation Specialist Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2021/11/16) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) Hi, Thank you for the link. IT does answer a lot of questions that will help me greatly to continue my studies. Yes, I did challenged the school on one question as it was not in the study material but just wanted to make sure that it doesn't happen to anyone else and I thank them for looking into that for all students. If there is any missing materials in my course, I'll be contacting the college to let them know. It was hard to continue without knowing if I had understood the reading material or not. As long as all the resources material is easy to find and well indicated, I won't have any problems. Now, I'll be able to progress my study and graduate. I'm very happy that we were able to find a solution. Thank you again. Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2021/11/16) */ *********** *********** I just did a test from my group 3 lesson 11. Waiting for the answer from Better Business Bureau, which I received today at 922am Atlantic time 11/16/21, I was finally able to get the missing content from the competency review (lesson 11) and I was overjoyed to continue the program. My first attempt to the lesson 11 test took place between 3 to 4pm today 11/16/21 greeting me with an "exceeded time limit error" saying that I logged in yesterday 11/16/21. I immediately called the college of PCDI Canada to point out the error. The first person that I talked to after reporting the error had said that the college would give back that lost attempt since it was a system error. I was also told to delete my cookies and data to see if it would rectify the error which unfortunately didn't work. Still speaking with with the nice lady that was trying to help, she asked me to click on on OK of the time exceeded window to give the quiz another try. Answering the next question the same error came back saying that my last attempt had exceeded yesterday Nov 15th at 1030am and submitted at 4:14pm (I would have the Nov 15th log investigated and I can guarantee that the IP would not be traced to me). With my current GPA of 4, why would I try to mess up my payed education for a better future purposely? When I called again to report that I hadn't received the 3rd attempt because of the error, I was then told that this was my doing. I'm now being accused for logging into my account and wasting my first test attempt (out of 3) a day before the BBB results came in. The first attempt didn't have a score because I purposely left it empty? When I answered every question with the same pop up appearing, I submitted my answers and I gave me a score of 0 and no scoring on the answers and still said that my time had exceeded. Not only that but I ran into questions that were marked correct on one quiz and then marked incorrect on the other with the exact same question word per word. One of the questions was: A physician writes a prescription, and then the medical assistant calls the prescription into the local pharmacy. The prescription represents which part of the communication process? I answered Message and got 5 points for it on the second quiz I answered the same question with the same answer as it came up again and got it wrong? Inconsistencies should not occur with payed online educational programs that determine our future ease or difficulty to enter a new career. This also raises question to the quality of my education. I payed for a complete course and as a paying costumer I deserve it. I will not suggest PCDI to anyone as this is the 3rd time that either content was missing, there was not proper guidance to where reference material was found, there is poor customer service care that don't care for the customer working for this company, and inconsistencies are unforgivable. Imagine if a surgeon was inconsistent with surgeries. I hope that the college will at least do their best to rectify all the problems with this program and support my hard work so that I can graduate with my GPA of 4 so that we can peacefully go our separate ways once the program is finished. Business Response /* (4000, 15, 2021/11/24) */ BBB Case Number: XXXXXXX Student Name: ******** ******* Student Number: MOXXXXXXX To Whom It May Concern: I welcome the opportunity to address Ms. *******' concerns. Reviewing Ms. *******' exam submissions, we do show that Ms. ******* entered exam elevens first attempt on November 15, 2021. It appears Ms. ******* left the exam open and the submission time is over 24 hours later. Students have 3 hours to submit an exam. I will include a screenshot of the written time for Ms. ******* first submission. Ms. ******* did proceed to take attempt 2 and 3 on exam eleven. Ms. ******* received a final grade of 95% on the exam. Ms. ******* did complete exam twelve on November 23, 2021 and used all three attempts. Ms. ******* received a final grade of 90% on that exam. Ms. ******* passed the course she was in and is currently setup in her final course for the program. Ms. ******* is 71% through with the program with a current GPA of 4.0. I will be having Ms. ******* contacted directly do go over her concerns with her exam questions directly. ***********************************************************************************. Sr. Escalation Specialist Consumer Response /* (4200, 17, 2021/11/27) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) This will be my last time answering this matter has I'm done with the course and I'm sure I will encounter more problems with the material but just want to be done with the school and move on. I know my stats as I check them to make sure they don't change as the answers from the last test changed from one try to the other try. One test, it's right, and on the other try, it's wrong. Which one is it? If you can figure this one out show it to me on camera. I was sitting in my chair in the living room, drinking my coffee which was around 815am Atlantic time and then my sister called on on video chat (we chatted from our cell phones) as she works night shifts so she wanted to talk before she goes to be and we talked till 130pm Atlantic time in the living room, no where near a computer. I had to leave to get my child from school at the bus stop. I didn't want to touch anything school related as I was waiting on the answer from Better Business Bureau. So, I was in the living room no where near a computer to touch to log in having a good time talking to my sister, would a ghost entered for me? I didn't touch the school stuff for a month or 2 as it took a long time to get the answers for the competency reviews. I will be done with the school and happy not to recommend that school and prevent others to have massive headaches as I went through ****. Thanks.
