              I purchased a vehicle warranty plan for my 2015 **** *** truck on July 15th 2017. It is Old Republics gold plan which is their top plan and is supposed to be total warranty coverage for my truck for 84 months and up to 120,000 kms. The vehicle current has 63,581 on it and there is approximately 30 months left on the warranty. I paid $3,462.90 for my coverage and was expecting this would be sufficient in covering all future mechanical and electrical repairs to my vehicle. I had an electrical problem with my shifter for the transmission and had the truck towed to ***** ***** Chrysler in ***** *****. I gave them my Old Republic warranty. ***** ***** Chrysler diagnosed the problem as coming from the wiring harness. ***** *****r the service consultant phoned Old Republic and was told they will not cover my repair because it was caused by corrosion to the harness connection. ***** informed them this was not caused by anything I had done but they are still refusing to help me in anyway with the estimated $2,639.41 cost of this repair. I phoned Old Republic and talked to Jamie in customer service and got no where even when I asked if we could share the cost. * **** ** * ** * ******** *** *** ****** ** ****** ******** ******** ** ** ******* **** **** ****** ** ******* ** * *** ******* ** ***** **** ****** I hope you will be able to help me with this problem and would like to launch a complaint against Old Republic Insurance for not standing behind an honoring their policy.               I purchased insurance on a non refundable trip to Holland through Verstrate Travel and Cruises and paid in full for the price of the trip ($6445). Which also included paying the Old Republic Insurance Company of Canada for travel insurance which costed my wife and I $695.00 (All inclusive for myself ($415) and non medical for my wife ($280)) This travel insurance was in case we had to cancel the trip. The Government of Canada issued an Official Global Travel Advisory not to "travel outside of Canada until further notice". Furthermore my doctor issued me a letter due to my recent operation and my weak immune system, not to travel due to the virus outbreak.

              I contacted the Old Republic Insurance Company on the 13th of March 2020 sending all of the documentation required. Again on the 20th of May 2020 I sent a letter again with all the documentation required. This Old Republic Insurance Company owes me $6000.00 as per their documents and they refuse to pay.

              This is the first and last time I will purchase travel insurance since I am now not only short $6000 but as well $695 that was paid out in good faith to an insurance company that acted in bad faith and should not continue falsely promote themselves as an insurance company.
