We have our system that was canceled and now it is continuously going off and will not stop. Even with countless attempts to get in contact with the company Battikha to have the system removed it is impossible to get in touch with anyone. I called the security system provider and I was told I have to speak with the dealer. We have absolutely no support with this issue.Initial Complaint

I won a contest 3 years ago with Battikha Security, the agreement was they would provide post dated cheques to cover the monthly cost of $79.09 over the three year period. Everything was going well until July of 2021, the July cheque was return due non sufficient funds. I contacted Battikha which took many phones calls and email before Annettte the administrator contacted me. Annette advised me that their was a breach with their bank accounts and that they will be sending new cheques once the issue was resolved. Nothing was resolved and I was advised to close the account so I was not in breach of my contract if I did not want to continue to pay the monthly fees. Annette sent an email advising on how to close my account and verbally told me I would be reimbursed for what I had paid so far. I made payments up until October of 2021. I’m owed $316.36 and would liked to be reimbursed what’s owed to me . I contacted the company many times and have sent emails no response thus far.Initial Complaint

Battikha set up a security system with ******* as part of a contest promotion in September 2019. We were guaranteed cheques to cover a 42-month agreement. We received 1 year's worth of cheques from Battikha but have not received the guaranteed amount, which resulted in us covering several months out of our own pocket. The company is unreachable and ******* will not honour the agreement. They acknowledge people have been complaining about Battikha and that they are difficult to reach.Initial Complaint

I am having similar issues to some that are posted by others. I won a contest from them that promised 4 years of free service. Starting with the May 2021 cheques, they have all bounced. Contacting the company has provided me with only the excuse that they were having banking issues and couldn't issue cheques. We are now coming up on another year and I have not received any cheques to compensate and the alarm provider is seeking payment now for the last 12 months of service. i would like the company to uphold their contract and re-issue the cheques and provide the remaining amount for the contest in one lump sum.Initial Complaint

In February of 2019, I won a Home Security package from Battikha Security. This prize included door bell camera, window and door alarm set up plus 4 years free home monitoring system. I did receive the door bell camera that stopped working and as I already had pre set up doors and window alarms nothing else was required Battikha was always late in sending cheques to cover the monitoring coverage but eventually did sent the cheques. Last September, the supplied cheques started to bounce. After contacting Battikha (not an easy chore as they were not good with returning phone calls or emails) I was advised the company had experienced a "Breech". No clarification on the type of breech but was told that once the breech was corrected, we would be reimbursed for the NSF charges and replacement cheques supplied It is now May of 2022, I have not had any NSF charges or replacement cheques supplied. Battikha will not full fill their contest commitments Monitoring has been cancelled since Battikha defaulted and the monitoring company canelled the agreement free of charge because of this. I am not the only person this has happened too and the company needs to stand behind their commitments to the publicInitial Complaint

I won a contest with them for a home security system. The deal was that I pay the monthly fee and they reimburse me with cheques. At first there was no problem, Since September 2021 the cheques stop and I was continued to be billed until January. I had to cancel my service bc I couldn't keep paying. I was told by Annette S. Director of Branch Operations that I would be fully reimbursed and now its April 2022 and they have completely stopped answering all phone calls and emails. I haven't been able to get ahold of this company since December. Please help!Initial Complaint

In July 2020, we won a contest with battikha security for monitoring service at no cost to us for three years. We were to receive cheques to cover the cost of the monitoring service for the first three years. I received cheques for the first year and things were moving along fine. In Jun 2021, I attempted to contact at Battikha to inquire about more cheques as June 2021 was my last cheque that I had. I received no response. I finally emailed on Jun 29, 2021, requesting my cheques. Finally Annette S. responded back stating that cheques had been sent out and I said I have not received them. She indicated she would have new ones issued. Eventually I did receive cheques. But at that point I had already paid July and August 2021 $158.18, out of pocket. When I did receive the cheque I deposited it and the next day its was returned NSF. I contacted Annette S. who responded with an apology indicating the company's bank account had been compromised and that is why my cheque and the clients as wells cheques did not clear. she said they working with the bank and that new cheques would be issued in the meantime not to use the cheques that I had been sent. Feeling uncomfortable with this companies lack of responding to emails or calling you back I took the step to call my credit card company and advised them them I was no longer authorizing ******** (battikha's monitoring company), to charge credit card that $79.09 monthly charge. I also followed up with Annette S. two times in October on the status of my cheque or refund for the out of pocket expense that I incurred of $158.18. I did not receive the funds and subsequently received and email from Anette S. informing me of issues they were having with the bank and that they were not sure when this issue would resolve and were unable to provide the monthly payments as per the agreement. They advise to cancel the service which I have. but I am still waiting for my $158.18 back. Company does not respondInitial Complaint

I got a promotions for a security camera system with monitoring service. The deal was that i would make my monthly paytments but i would get some checks that would actually cover the cost for an extended period of time. I made my payments, but now i i got information that suggest that Battikha was in financial difficulty and that if i try to change my checks, they will bounce. So to make sure about this, i tried to call Battikha numerous time and left some messages in their voice mail box. They never replied to me. I called in November 2021 .Also i should have gotten a set of new checks for the next year. The fact that i didn't get a call back suggest that my source of information might actually be correct. I am ultimately seeking: 1. Reimbursement for all the months that i paid for which the checks were supposed to fully cover. I'm not interested in getting NSF fees. 2. Getting a phone call from Battikha to see if those checks are still valid so that i can change them without them bouncing. Otherwise i would like get paid by any other means.Initial Complaint

I have a contract with Battikha Security and as part of the contract they are to cover the 42 months of service. first 6 months are free and then they send out cheques via mail to cover the monthly fee. I was told this is part of the promotion that i have won. ******************************************************. Now since last 2-3 months they haven't sent the cheques and i have made more than 20 calls and sent them emails but they don't respond back. i am still being charged every month. I would like them to send the cheques for the months that went by and for the months to come as well.Initial Complaint

On contract with the a promo offer of 4 years, last month their post dated cheque bounced, there was a promise to reissue at the earliest . Meantime ********* their provider continued taking monthly recurring payments . Then Battikha asked to cancel with no time line for reissue of post dated cheques for the reminder of the contract and bounced cheques. 2 payments of $ 73.49 paid to ********** I transferred my residence in June, Battikha charged me $ 420 + Tax to remove and reinstall . This was paid, however the reinstall did not take place yet . Payments to ********* for July October was for no service rendered . With Battikha reimbursing only for July/ August . Battikha owes me $ 420 + tax , $ 146.98 .
