On September 8th, 2022 ****** ***** from Max appliance repair came to my house to fix my washer. He had a quick look without opening the machine and told us that the motor needs replacing. As per their service agreement when you have the repairs done the diagnostic fee they charge gets waived. ****** kept me waiting 3 weeks and the delivery for the parts is delayed. When I called ******* they said the part is in stock and can be delivered in 3 to 5 business days. ****** ***** from Max Appliance repair charged me double the price for parts only as I took a price on the part direct from the manufacturer. After 3 weeks he refunds me my deposit after deducting $112.00 for diagnostic fee. I called at least 20 times and the lady who answers the phone barely speaks English. She tells me the manager will call me back and no manager has called me back. These people are scamming by not doing their job. Asking for a deposit than blaming it on manufacturer for delivery delay. They have a quick 10 mins way to make a $100 for diagnostic. I did not cancel the repair but I kept asking them to come back and finish the job so I should not have to pay diagnostic fee for an incomplete job. After almost 4 weeks of waiting I called a second company called ***** appliance repair he came and was an honest man who told me the motor is perfectly fine and there is something stuck that is blocking the pump. Took him 2 hours and costed me $200 compared to the $670 Max appliance had quoted me. The issue here is they cheated and made a quick $100 over a 10 mins dishonest diagnostic . They need to be aware of customers rights and cannot cheat like this. I need them to Refund me my $112.00 and not try and scam others by their dishonest business.Initial Complaint

On June 20, 2022 MaxAppliiance Repair came to fix my refrigerator that was showing an ** error code. After two hours and numerous calls for help from someone I assume at their facility. I was unable to know what was said as the conversations were not in English. It was obvious that the so called technician had no idea how to fix the problem, he also had no idea how to protect customers hardwood floors as he damaged the area in front of our fridge when moving it which he did numerous times. Instead of fixing our fridge he introduced two additional problems that we didn’t have before he came., we now have the lights on the water dispenser on all the time and cannot be turned off and the water switch he has damaged and jammed it to the dispenser. Because of the poor workmanship and damage to our floor I told him to leave. I contacted Max Appliance Repair to lodge a complaint and after three phone calls and two emails I have had had any response.
