We have been clients of Harding Heating and Air Conditioning for a few years. Are on a monthly maintenance plan for both our Air Conditioning and a furnace. In October 2021 our furnace stopped working properly. It would intermittently shutdown and would not reach the set temp. I place a called with Harding and someone came. They said it was working fine once they came home and took off after 5 minute. The issue persisted, I called back in November after having no heat for several days and a house that would go down to 19/18 overnight. The same technician came over and investigated more after I reminded them they came a few weeks before. A trainee was also with them. Turns out one of the limit blower switches was not working properly and needed to be changed. The tech did not have one in their truck so he put the defect switch back into the furnace and told me it would be fine for now because they removed some « dust ». They would check with their office if they could order a new one. The technician even said that worst case, they would take one from a new furnace they have in inventory and come back in a few days to replace it. The furnace worked for a few hours and stopped. The next few days we literally froze in the house. I had the gas fireplace on all day long which would help for the main floor but I could not leave it on at night. Each morning the temp was at 18/17 C. Not hearing anything, I called back to complain. A new tech came over and did something over the course of 45 minutes. But they said it is a temp fix. The furnace is working but I am always worried it will stop.. it’s winter! I have called Harding at least 15 times since and emailed four times. They only said they ordered the part via email but that is it. They never answer or return my calls or emails. I am completely in the dark. How is this good customer service especially for monthly paying customers. I don’t know what to do anymore. ****** *****Business response

We apologize for the delay in parts, we have struggled with shipping delays. We have confirmed the parts have arrived in Ottawa today and will be reaching out to you today to get the parts installed.
