NCP Homes Ltd. came immediately to look at our job when we contacted them a few months ago. We provided them in writing, with schematics, a punch list, and everything they needed to give us a quote, and had a great on-site conversation and look at what we needed done. They said they could start September, 2021. They said they would schedule a visit with their engineer to look over some joist repair. We then checked in with them via email twice afterward to see when that was to be scheduled and there was no response. We called them and had no response. We then emailed this past week to try again to touch base, as September is just around the corner. We were told that they had too many jobs and we were no longer on the schedule. This put us in a very bad position, thinking that the work would begin in September, and now we have no one to do the work. This shows a lack of professionalism and follow through and has seriously affected us. I would certainly not recommend a company that does this to customers. This is unacceptable.

We had responded to the client via e-mail to let them know our fall availability was no longer an option. This was our response: "Hi ****, We have been extremely busy, some of our current jobs have taken on extra work not anticipated At this time we do not see an opening for your project this fall We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience & wish you the best in your endeavors." It's unfortunate that the client was under the assumption that we schedule projects without a signed proposed estimate, site plan/drawing, contract and deposit. An initial site inspection was completed to discuss a very large project, but no further detail/estimates had been provided. Therefore no project contract had been agreed upon or entered in to. The client had multiple other companies and contractors on-site currently completing work and scheduled to complete work, so the reliance they have portrayed on us halting their project is inaccurate and unfair. It's always disappointing to hear that a client isn't satisfied, but agreeing to a project when we do not currently have the staff to do so would only have resulted in greater dissatisfaction. I'm sure many home home owners wouldn't allow a contractor to begin work on their home without an estimate or contract in place. So it feels this blame has been misplaced.
