We have purchased a ****** ******** from this business about 4 months back. About 2 weeks after we bought it multiple issues occured causing us not to be able to drive it. It has been in and out of their shop multiple times each time saying issue with vehicle has been resolved and yet each time same issue comes back. Recently it left us broke down yet again. Reached out to car one with no phone call back. Had no choice but to take it to our local subaru dealership. Where they have fixed issue and said its due to missing parts on the vehicle.

Thanks for giving us the chance to respond, This customer had purchased a vehicle from us that did come back for an issue.
I attached work order above for review if neccesary, The issue was not safety inspection related at the time. We had brought the vehicle back and completed a majority of the repairs at our expense minus the spark plugs that were recommened due to mileage as maintenace. (the vehicle having 177,673 on it at this time).
We have a phone call tracking system attached as well, We hadnt heard from her since the original issues completed back in. We did get a phone call from them after the vehicle had been to Subaru asking for reimbursment, We have a serviuce deparment and they did purchase a warranty that would have possible coverage. I am With these work orders on behalf of the customer looking to see if that company will make an exception for reimbursemnt at the moment. I will follow up with the customer on this as soon as I have an Answer from them.

I have ben looking for a truck for a while, I was interested in a specific truck they had on their lot, on Saturday the 12 of March I went to Car one. I looked at the truck like it. The financing was to have a 100% refundable deposit. I deposited 500$, to hold the vehicle until financing was secured. The deal did not go thru. So the sales person offered me a different truck. Which I was not interested in. They ran my credit 19 times for the first vehicle. On Wednesday the 16th March I clearly asked, over the phone the sales agent who I was dealing with, for a refund as nothing else on their lot was matching my requirements. I have been waiting to have a deposit in my account with no avail. I contacted car one on many occasions over text and e mail with no answers what so ever. Today the 19th March, I drove over an hour to the Car One dealership. Only to have the day manager tell me that she cannot refund me until she talks to accounting on Monday. To ensure no other refund were issued for the same transaction. Which I get, But I have asked for a refund on Wed accounting was there Thursday and Friday. Furthermore If your business is open to take money in it should have someone who can approve refund. I don't know of any business who talks to accounting before refunds. Walmart, home depot, canadian tire... you go to the customer service desk and Voila! Refund done. So here is my beef. If you can happily take my deposit. I should be able to obtain my refund in a reasonable amount of time. Which this is just dragging on for no reason.

Unfourtantley the Customer failed to have receipt of orignal deposit when they returned to have refund and without accounting or employee who took the deposit present to confirm it was hard to return right away. This is our policy that will be evaluated and the money has since then rightfully been returned to the client with apolagies to the client for the inconviniences. We will evaluate our processes so this doesnt happen again in this manner to another client. Thank you.

I purchased a 2018 **** ******** through Car 1, sight unseen. Went through all the financials and set payments up through my bank. Since I live in another province I had to get it delivered to me. That ended up taking 2 weeks. I asked for a record of the safety that they did. They didn’t send it to me for 2 weeks in which I had to get a temporary license plate twice which cost me money. The lady I dealt with at Car 1 didn’t believe me that I could use an Ontario safety in Manitoba, even though I told her and emailed her proof. When I finally received the **** it had no stereo in it, the dash was lying on my passenger seat, there was 2 dents on either side of the **** caused by the doors swinging open. I ordered a remote starter to be put it and it didn’t work. There were lights lit up on the dash that told me there was a speed sensory out so my cruise control didn’t work and left it stuck in second gear. There were no door straps to stop the door from flying open. My key wouldn’t open the door from the outside so I couldn’t lock the doors. The interior lights didn’t work. I was not told about any of this when I purchased the vehicle. It was not mentioned in the advertisement. A manager by the name of Ryan got a hold of me absolutely mortified that I was going through this and he said that Car 1 would reimburse me. All I had to do was get it all takes care
of and send him a copy of the receipts. Well I messaged his about a month ago telling him that I was just about all done with getting my **** fixed up. He never replied to me. I messaged him on Monday, Dec 27th and still no word from Car 1. I’m pretty upset about the entire situation. It’s not like it a $2000 car, it’s a $32,000 plus tax ****. A family member told me to go through the Better Business Bureau. Maybe you can help me get a bit of my money back. After all the headaches I’ve been going through since purchasing this vehicle in October, I’d just rather send it back!!!

They’re refusing to refund their “fully refundable deposit” saying that they keep the deposit if a bill of sale was signed. That’s not what fully refundable means and signing a voidable bill of sale is not binding. ***** and ******* were the ones I dealt with. They lied to the bank on my financing application by falsifying the time I have been with my employer and also falsified my gross monthly income. They tried to charge $1500 worth of financing and dealer fees and warranties on the loan claiming that the lender (********** Dealer Advantage) said that I have to have a warranty to get financing approval at a 9.99% interest rate. I called the lender myself, spoke to a supervisor who confirmed my suspicion that the dealership was trying to rip me off and they don’t make anyone buy a warranty for financing.

Details: I took my vehicle in for an oil change on 14 June 2021. At this time there was a minor oil leak on the backside of the engine. I talked to my mechanic and it was nothing pressing. After my oil change, I was told that one of my struts was almost done for. While driving my car out of the parking lot of CarOne, I heard an audible ‘pop’ sound. I assumed it was my strut. I continued on home and as I was pulling into my driveway I heard a ‘clunk’ sound different from the original’popping’ sound (that was my strut). A few days later when I went to use my vehicle I noticed lots of smoke coming out of the hood. When I checked, I noticed a significant oil leak. I notified CarOne. They informed me this was not recent enough (4 days after the oil change). I have photos of the oil being WAY over full (half way up the dip stick) and oil is BLACK. I’m guessing they never emptied the oil pan prior to to adding the new oil. Overfull oil is a common cause for the Crank Case Seal leak.
