On December 21, 2021, I put down a deposit of $257.37 (the full amount was $507.37) for a nightstand. I called the nightstand, was not supposed to be available until June 2022. Fine. I called MULTIPLE times in July, August, and September to be told that it is still waiting to be delivered. In September, the babies room closed. I want my money back.Initial Complaint

I am currently ** ***** ********* awaiting a crib and dresser from The Baby's Room, which I ordered in May 2022. I called the store 2 weeks ago asking for a status update, and was told someone would get back to me shortly. Today I attempted to call The Baby's Room again and the phone number is not-accessible, and the website is down. I went to the store in Kitchener and the inventory has been cleared out and the store is closed. I have paid a $1500 deposit for my products and have not received anything. I also haven't received any notice of the closure or next steps.Initial Complaint

Put down a $780.00 deposit for an ******** ***** ** stroller ** ****** *** to be delivered to this store before ** ****** *** date of November 12th. I was told it would take around 8 weeks for the product to arrive, upon it's arrival I would pay the remainder of the price. I was never contacted by the company, the store is now closed and empty and despite leaving messages on their phone (at all of their locations) I have not received any information from the store. I am now out $780.00 with no stroller, no explanation or information from the company. Their ****** profile says they are permanently closed, phone lines full of messages and website no longer exists (despite finding it a few days ago).Initial Complaint

May 29, 2022 **************** bought a crib *** ******** also purchased rail conversion. Paid up front for both. Have not received rail conversion package. Called several times, spoke to sales lady and told she would get in touch with head office. (no record of package being ordered). Followed up with a week's worth of phone calls - she still had no answer for us. Went in person with receipt on Thursday Sept. 22, 2022 and spoke to the same sales lady as on the phone, she said that the sales person that dealt with us was not available and that she only knows about her clients, but she had left messages with head office and got no reply. She gave me their phone number and I left. When I got home I phoned that number and was told it was no longer in service and a new number was given to me. I got a recording saying that they were closed and getting ready for a sale and that there had also been and illness that impacted that store. I went today to the location of the purchase and found doors locked and through the windows you could see an empty room. No notes and explanations posted.
