Oct 29 2021, ******************, Kitchener: In order to replace the faulty water heater, the chimney liner needed to be replaced first. Regional Air agreed to do replace the chimney liner the same day. After reviewing the pictures of the furnace and chimney that they requested in the email, they quoted $1498.38 including taxes for the job and asked for payment in advance. I paid it full right away in advance with my *********** as we had no hot water. Regional Air emailed me a receipt that showed the full amount with taxes = $0. Around 3 PM on Oct 29 2021 Regional Air crew came to my property and halfway into the job, they found the chimney space was not enough to fit the required 5" liner. They stopped the work and put everything back and restored the chimney to the original condition without the liner. They also tagged the furnace be shut down as it was leaking. When called about the unfinished job, Regional Air said they would give a refund of $700 first and then later changed their mind and said would credit $700 if I bought a furnace from them otherwise only a refund of $300. But no refund has been given to me till now. Since then calls to Regional Air have not been returned or answered and I have been waiting for my refund and the proper invoice for the work done.
