On March 29, 2023 we purchased a brand new mattress, box and mattress cover from Sleep EZZZ store in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada (415 Hespeler Rd.). Total transaction was $860.00. The business assured us that there was a 10 year warranty on the purchased items. On April 4, 2023 we went back to the store to let them know that the mattress was defective. Pictures were shown to them showing the severe depression after 2 nights sleep on it. At this point they did a complete 180 and were unwilling to help replace or refund the mattress. They were acting very aggressive as well. Because they were unwilling to solve the problem, I initiated a chargeback through ** ********* **********. After a few weeks, I called ********** back and was told they found the case in my favor and refunded me the full amount of $860.00. They did ask that we resolve the matter between us. In a letter sent to **********, I let them know that Sleep EZZZ is welcome to pickup the items to close-out the issue. On August 22, 2023, Sleep EZZZ contacted us and arranged a date to pick-up all the items (mattress, box and mattress cover). The Sleep EZZZ pick-up crew also signed and dated that they picked up the items. Everything was in new condition with the original packaging. The matter was essentially resolved as I had my purchase price refunded and the company had their merchandise. Three months later on November 24, 2023, for unknown reasons, ********** charged back the $860.00 to my account and sent this payment to Sleep EZZZ. Sleep EZZZ now has the items returned and also the money. I followed up with Sleep EZZZ to get them to return the money back but they refused to co-operate. They ignored any follow-up calls to them and do not want to take responsibility. I contacted this business regarding warranty for a full mattress set I purchased March 2021. Full mattress foundation damaged and mattress very soft and lumpy. **** ******** *** * ********** ** ******* ******** ********* I was inquiring if there is any warranty and sent pictures. He stated only a 1 year warranty? * **** ***** ***** ** * * **** ******** ** * ******** **** Purchase date: March 6, 2021 Amount: $438.00 Please assist.
