Contacted TPD for a quote on a bumper part. Was provided quote and referred to online website for shipping calculation and order. Completed order form and was quoted shipping. Agreed on price Ordered and paid for item. Few days later, received an email stating I must pay $50 more shipping us tax because part is 1 inch oversized. Referred me to small print in order. Buyer beware.Business response

I am responding to the attached complaint that was mailed here to the dealership.
The website clearly states that the final shipping cost is calculated by the third party shipping company. I also have copies of emails to Rick explaining the additional shipping costs. We did not hide anything and in the end we canceled his order and he was not out of pocket for any costs.
I also have emails with his threats of voicing his displeasure on social media, customer reviews.
We have been selling parts on-line for about 5 years and this is the first time we have had a customer have an issue with shipping costs.
