I took my truck in to this business with a diagnosed rear main seal oil leak from another shop. Napa decided that they were going to do their own diagnostics. They charged me for this and then said it was the oil pan gasket. Then it was still leaking afterwards. They then said oh it must be the oil pan itself, so they then replaced that. It came back still leaking. Then they finally said ok, its the rear main oils seal, like I originally said was diagnosed. They then replaced that, in which did not fix the leak still. They said to me it must have a crack in the crankshaft and that will cause me to need a new engine basically. So I decided I would take it to the shop that originally diagnosed the leak and have them figure it out, in which they redid the rear main seal and found the reason it was still leaking from Napa was their mechanic damaged a retaining plate that the seal sits in. So this shop replaced that plate and the seal again and the truck no longer leaks any oil. I contacted Napa about this and that they have caused me to be out of pocket $2663.16 due to their lack of diagnostics and damage done by them doing the jobs. The shop that did the work properly was ******************************* in ******. Ive been trying to get this resolved for over a month now with no luck, so I am filing this complaint in hopes to get this resolved. Thank you *************************Business response

Regarding ID# ********, I was advised to deal with his son ****** by ***** as his son was the one who did the work at his shop. Spoke with ****** on November 24/2023 am agreement was made of a refund for $900 refund. The cheque is made and ready to be picked today NovemberCustomer response
