On Friday, April 5th, 2024, I called *********************************** to book an appointment, mentioned what we were looking for ************************ and mentioned our hair being previously damaged from bleaching and that we had thin hair. I went to the salon with my daughter ****. We had our hairs done, but looked like nothing was done and underneath my head was very orange, very patchy and no colour matched the other even after the toner, nothing was done to fix that both for me and ****'s hair, it was done poorly and unprofessionally. Although I knew my hair was damaged, I requested more highlights on the top since I've already said it will be a special occasion that we are having and I would like to straighten my hair. She agreed to giving us more highlights, but the results were horrendous. The top was ice blonde and the rest was completely orange even after the shampoo and toner, the colour was not right either and she made me leave the salon with conditioner and toner still on my head (whichs not professional at all). The next morning we decided to check out our hair, and it was a complete disaster causing us to book another appointment somewhere else to get it fixed. I texted *********************************** in a respectful way but did not receive the proper response. She asked for my e transfer info to refund us, but this wasn't her real intention, as she used the email just to threaten us about posting any negative reviews anywhere on social media, also she told us to never contact her and that she banned us from ever entering her salon again, and never refunded us or even negotiated it a single bit.Another thing that was discussed was the price and having a 20% off the $180 total price from each, *********************************** had mentioned on the phone that the total cost is around 140ish each after the 20% discount, but then she charged us $160 instead, and she also mentioned that if we pay cash, we will not be charged HST.Please check out the attached images.
