I received a notification from this company that I needed to renew my nexus card. It looked legit as a government operation. I filled out all necessary information for myself and my wife and its was processed by Border cards *********** On transaction #************************ $220 US$My wife was charged by Border Cards *********** On $135$ ** transaction # ************************ both on My US$ **** Oct 25th. The cost for renewal should be $50 each ******** or $100 I have paid approx $480 ********. This is FRAUD. Not only that now this company ( they cant really be a company) CROOKS SCAMMERS now ve my Credit card information address Passport, Nexus card, Birth certificate, Drivers license. So now i have to cancel my credit card and apply for new passport, nexus and mine and my wife's personal information is out there. This has caused GREAT STRESS in our marriage as well as sleepless nights. I want my money back and our information destroyed. Please advise on next stepsBusiness response

We want to assure you that all your personal data will be permanently erased from our records once we resolve the issue at hand.
As a ******** company that has been operating with Border Cards since 2009, we've never experienced a breach of our customers' personal information.
In response to your case:
1. Our protocol is to email only returning clients; our records do not indicate that you fall into this category. We would recommend you check the sender's name on the initial email you received.
2. We submitted your application on October 25th, 2023.
3. As of January 4th, ****, your application has been approved by the government, and no further interview is required.
4. The government will deliver Your NEXUS card directly to your postal address.

Please note that while the form has been updated, the one you completed is similar. On this application, government fees and our service charges are distinctly separated. Every detail is disclosed in the form.
We welcome any suggestions you might have to ensure that such situations do not recur, working towards improving the experience for all clients.
We generally refund the full amount for any client who requests it before work begins. Even if the work has started, we always strive to reach a reasonable compromise with our clients. As your card has already been approved and is on its way to your mailing address, we regrettably dont refund it once the service is complete.
