We completed the application process with the company Border Cards to secure our ***** passes. The application process cost us over $700 for the four of us in my family so that they could arrange the interview for us. We received an email on March 20, 2020 advising that we were conditionally approved and that we needed to contact them and provide the convenient location for our interview and speak to them in person which we did. We chose from the list of locations that they provided and chose Toronto Pearson Airport. COVID hit and we did not get any offered appointments during lockdowns. We have been provided some interview dates over the past two years all of which were appointments in the United States which is not the location that we chose as per their request. My husband and I have full time jobs and we have two children in elementary school and to take them outside of the country in a pandemic was not feasible. As a result we asked for a refund to which they denied us stating they had done the application although we had not received anything as a result. On May 3, 2022 they sent us an email that if we do not attend our in person interview in the United States, our application will be cancelled. My husband contacted them about it and they said he had to send an email to which he did with no response. I again emailed them on May 23, 2022 regarding the service and how we cannot take our kids out of school and across the border for an appointment that we should have been provided in Canada. Again no response. This has been an awful experience and although $700 is not a huge amount of money, we have two children whom we would rather support than this company who did not produce any product. We were never provided with a copy of our completed application and cannot even confirm if they did complete the application. Everything has been up and running after the pandemic for some time and there is no reason why our interview could not be done here.
