**** ****** ** * ************** ************ ***** *** ********** ******** *** *********** *** ***** ** ****** **** ** *** ***** ** *** **** *** ****** ** ******* *** **** ******* ** ******* *** ***** ******** We host 254 girls in Camp *******. The girls get collected from the GTA using busses. Six 56-seat coach buses with washroom and one 30-seat coach bus for a total of $20,300 were ordered from Paramount Coach Services. A detailed schedule of pick up and drop off times were provided to **** for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. All communication leading up to the weekend was prompt and courteous, but we encountered below issues: 1. Friday, June 7th Delays: The coach bus picking up adults was 1.5 hours late and lacked toilet paper. The delay to our schedule by 1.5 hours significantly affected our plans. 2. During Friday's rain, the $2,300 bus had a ceiling leak, making the front row seats unusable. 3. Sunday, June 9th Delays: Only one bus arrived on time at 4:30 pm. The second and third buses were delayed by traffic, arriving after 5 pm. 4. The fourth bus arrived at 6:15 pm, the fifth at 6:40 pm, and the sixth bus never arrived, as it got stuck. The driver asked us to help with wood planks to free the bus, and we received no formal updates or assistance from your team. This left us scrambling to get 56 girls home while dealing with upset parents. Five girls missed their flight to BC due to this chaos. 5. Incorrect Bus Type: The adults' bus on Sunday was a white school bus without a washroom, not the coach bus we paid for. We contacted **** (he said he is the owner). *** *** *** *** ***** ****** ********* ***** **** ******* ** ************* *** ******** he said delays happen and we are not entitled to any money. **** claims that the 6th bus did “show up” and it just got stuck. He mentioned that because we distributed the girls who were supposed to be on the 6th bus to the 5th bus. That 5th bus had to make an extra stop that cost him mileage and gas.
